A fine mini to include in a crate of minis ala Reaper Bones

I'd never order him as a standalone mini, unless I needed him in particular to unlock a detachment or something.

I kind of like it, I like the classical archetype fantasy style it's in.

looks like their version of sir forscale, from reaper miniatures.

He's actually a pretty good miniature.

Plenty of space for brand confusion if Reaper is not involved, which I would have thought they were.

It's nicely sculpted, and looks nice enough to paint. It's not particularly exciting as a first release, though. Looks like a fairly bog standard unit champion model.

Okay, again it's a relatively simple model but I like him and he looks like something I can knock out in a sitting instead of agonizing over fiddly details of an overdesiged model. A real palette-cleanser model.

Just like Not-Strongheart, I could see myself picking this guy or ones like him if the price is right. But I'm not gonna buy armies or jump on a KS for him.

I'm only really interested in the second, fifth, and eighth figures from the left.

I really quite like them. Some properly fantasy stuff done well that reminds me slightly of the Overlord games and isn't just dark for the sake of being edgy. I wasn't a big fan initially but definitely growing on me

Again, if the pricing is reasonable, these work for me. Painting them would be like a sorbet between meals to cleanse the metaphorical palette.

Apologies if I've missed this, but have they said what material the models are being produced in yet?
