So I played at my first Steamroller. 750 points and I brought an Amon list.
Funny thing: I didn't play a single Cryx. There were two Cryx at the tournament.
Assassination: Dude won on VPs because he eliminated a unit and I couldn't eliminate anything before time was called. Though we both had Jacks near the other ones casters.
Killing Field: I won on Control Points (sand blasts, redeemer rockets, lots of synergy fought off eHaley).
King of the Hill: He started with 3 or 4 models on the objective. It was all downhill after that (rim shot).
Pendulum: I was doing ok until he got my Temple Flame Guard that was on his side of the table to run. Eiryss was hiding on my side so he won with 1 point.
I didn't mind the scenarios. They forced me to stretch or apply my forces and with Amon, that's kinda difficult to do. I *think* I'm getting the hang of the power attack game, which has always been my weakest portion.
