So my codex says my Chaos Bikes come with combi bolters mounted on and the riders are equipped with boltpistols or close combat weapons.

If I equip them with bolt pistols, can they shoot both the bolt pistols and the mounted combi bolters in the same shooting phase?

Some at my local GW argue otherwise, saying an infantry model can only ever fire one gun at a time.  I had trouble finding this rule in the big book, so I'm asking here for confirmation or otherwise!

Uh, since you're talking about bikes have you considered checking the bike rules on page 53 of the Warhammer 40,000 4th edition rulebook? Particularly the section titled 'Shooting'?
