Is it possible for a marine to wield two and how would it work?  I understand the two CCWs aspect but could you fire both when in range if even possible?

Answer: no. Having two bolt pistols is exactly the same as having a bolt pistol and clost combat weapon, as far as I can tell.

In general, only MCs and Vehicles are given the ability to fire more than one weapon at a time. There are always exceptions, but this is not one of them.

The only thing I can think of that can use 2 bolt pistol are Seraphims. In their case, the pistols are twinlinked for shooting.

What about the SM Termie with the Cyclone missile laucher and storm bolter? I know  the Eldar Wraithlord can fire up to 2 weapons (Monstrous Creature BBB pg.55), but can't find anything on the Termie.

That weapon system has special rules attached to it which is why it costs too much. Besides how do you acquire 2 bolt pistols? You cannot select the same gear twice, unless that doesn't cover weapons.

Cypher also has 2 bolt pistols IIRC.

All exceptions that prove the rule. Each of those units has a special rule allowing it to fire both weapons. No special rule = no dual pistols.

It doesn't. In every codex except Tyranids and Tau Empire, the 'no duplicate items' restriction only applies to Wargear.

He has a bolt pistol and plasma pistol. Not sure on the rules for using them, though.

You would be able to chose which you want to fire. I wouldn't risk firing a Plasma Pistol at a Guardsman.

Actually, per his rules, Cypher can shoot both at the same time, and even double tap both.
