I like the idea of plastic models, but "assembled and painted"? Are they using the same soft plastic that WizKids uses? Will there be unassembled and unpainted versions available?

As posted HERE on Dakka there is supposed to be unpainted models available.

I haven't seen any pictures of finished minis but I think its safe to assume that the minis won't be the same quality and material as current plastic pre-painted figs on the market.

Rackham has already said that unpainted minis will be available from their online store but there are no specifics of which figs those will be and what they will be cast in. I have heard rumours of unpainted minis done in metal but that hasn't been confirmed.

Rest assured that if Rackham puts their name on it they'll make sure it's up to their standards of quality. They've got a uniquely artistic focus in their business.

I lost interest when it went from being a mecha game to being an infantry game with AT-STs.

You'd think someone would be able to fill the tactical niche between WH40k and Heavy Gear by now.
