What are your opinion on this game? I picked up a starter box, $35 CDN got me the game mat, dice, rules and plenty of minis. Better quality than the clix games. The game plays like chess meets magic. Very cool concept.

What say ye good folk of dakka?

Played a demo at Gen Con. I thought it was simply OK. I wish there was more of an element of suprise with the figs. I know other mini games don't have this, but this one just felt like that would be a benefit. Perhaps allow the figs in your reserve to be hidden, or you pick 1/4 of your force after your opponent revealed their initial 3/4. If you've played Star Wars Minis, that's why I live Jabba, keeps 'em guessing.

Have you played more than the one game? What was others opinion on the game? Trying to see if this game will catch on and be popular, seeing as 40K is slowing down with the qualitity of opponents around here.
