Tank shock and morale checks - who needs to make them?

The tank shock rule states that "If an infantry unit is forced to move models in response to a tank shock, it must make a morale check or fall back."

Does this mean that:

Tank shocking non-vehicle units that aren't classified as "infantry" (bikes, for example) does not force a morale check?

Also, an even more basic tank shock question:

If I take a tank and declare a tank shock and move it through where the models are, it says they need to move if they are overrun by the tank "and individual models would end up underneath the vehicle". Does this mean that they don't move unless the vehicle ends its move over where they were? I've always interpreted tank shock to be "I move in a straight line, everyone gets out of my way (or tries death or glory) and everyone who had to get out of my way, no matter where I end up, has to test". I think that is the spirit of the rule but the wording seems poor - I don't know why they use "end up".

Tank shock and morale checks - who needs to make them?

The other non-vehicle unit types all follow the same rules as infantry, except where specifically stated otherwise (rulebook, page 53)

So without a specific exemption to taking morale checks from tank shock, they would be required to take one just like infantry.

For the second question, this is a known grey area in the rules.

Some say that all models in the path of the tank should move, some say just those under the tank's final position... there's no way to judge for sure, as the wording can be taken either way.

Thanks, that makes perfect sense. No wonder I couldn't find the answer to my question elsewhere...it's so obvious
