				<title>1,500 Witch Hunters SAFH</title>

				<description><![CDATA[ i guess investing 20% of the points limit in non-shooting doesn't really an <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(116);'>SAFH</span> make.<br /> <br /> that depends on what's in the skimmers. my plan for holo-harlies is simply to lose as many squads as they have harlie falcons and then shoot them to death, which is how i always handle harlies. in the case of fire dragons replace squad with excorcist, which hurts more, but is still manageable unless it's a stelek style list with all fire dragons. then i likely lose as it becomes too hard to reliably glance the falcons, but i've never actually encountered mech eldar that didn't use harlies. at 1,500 3 loaded falcons is most of the army, so i think i'm ok. if i get first turn the callidus assassin likely gets me one dead falcon right off the bat.<br /> <br /> mech tau would probably be a harder match-up since railheads are very dangerous to my exorcists. i'd have to be very careful with firing lanes in deployment. devilfish i can probably pop, and killing the firewarriors inside is no problem. the callidus helps deal with <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(278);'>JSJ</span> suits. the deciding factor of the game would be whether or not i could keep the railheads from blowing up my exorcists, which means spreading fire across all three to keep them shaken and waiting for some lucky hits. <br /> <br /> i'd actually be more worried about eldar jetbikes than skimmers. bike mounted warlock body guards with fortune could reall ruin my day. i guess the best thing to do would be to castle up in a corner deploying my tanks in a ring around my infantry to screen them from assault,  leaving 2" gaps to shoot through. hopefully that would buy me enough shooting time. another situation where a word in your ear could save my bacon if i got first turn. maybe i should think about finding room for a tarot.]]></description>

Maybe a Elite slot inquisitor with tarot and psycannon?<br /> <br /> And maybe you should think about adding 1 or 2 Acolytes to your Inquisitor and arm him with a boltgun. 				<description><![CDATA[ i could drop a rough rider squad to finance those changes, and maybe a psychic hood too. but that might leave me light on countercharge against fightier enemies. i'll have to do some proxy play testing.<br /> <br /> on the retinue i'm not sure that 13 point acolytes are better buys than 10 point vet guardsmen who come with a gun. might be something i'm missing about wound allocation though. if the squad takes 2+ wounds can you give the first to the acolyte, the second to the lord, then allocate the lord's wound to the acolyte to overkill him? that doesn't quite seem kosher.]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ Drop the riders.<br /> <br /> They are counter-attack units, but you have no real gunline full of bodies to protect.<br /> <br /> Drop the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(329);'>PG</span> off the stormtroops.  You don't really think you'll get to drop them off your Chimera or they'll live long enough to double-tap anyone?  <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(380);'>Gl</span> are better on stormtroops, they might do something.<br /> <br /> At 1500 points an Assassin is questionable.<br /> <br /> She'll be unsupported, so most armies will simply burn their <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(19);'>CC</span> unit on her and kill her.<br /> <br /> All those chimeras aren't a strength either, because of the flawed rules for vehicles they will get popped on their side armor pretty much every time....and 10 is no protection.]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ Chimeras are not 'cheap', they aren't Devilfish so they get penetrated all the time.  Chaos Rhino's are 'cheap'.<br /> <br /> I'd go with <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(5);'>AC</span> on those Sentinels, so you hit something.  Exorcists are pretty good <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(482);'>AT</span>. You also have <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(702);'>AF</span> squads.<br /> <br /> I guess in this revision the only tactical problem I see is, your <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(272);'>Inq</span> lord is really the only thing worth shooting at with anti-infantry weapons.  A shooty army with only him to shoot at, is going to kill him even in his protected state.  I wouldn't shoot the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(702);'>AF</span>, <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(171);'>ST</span>, or even the Sentinels until the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(272);'>Inq</span> Lord (infantry target) and Exorcists (all S7 or better anti-tank) are dead.<br /> <br /> Your Chimeras will be annoying,but just remember to set them up FAR from your infantry formations.  Use them to protect your Exorcists as much as possible, everyone blows Exorcists up as soon as they show up.  And yes, I really do mean if you must sacrifice a Chimera to cut 1 lascannon shot off from your Exorcist, you should do so.]]></description>
