Farseer on a Grav Platform

I'm making an Eldar army for the cool figs and excuse to paint brighter colors than my current armies' schemes. This of course leads to various conflicts in coolness vs effectiveness. I want this Farseer to lead my army, he's just got a cool pose and all.
http://store.us.games-workshop.com/storefront/store.us?do=Individual&code=99060104090&orignav=300931&ParentID=258776&GameNav=10&ItemNav=305782
Being on a Jet Bike is of course more effective than trying to have him keep up with everything on foot, but there's no way to put that guy on a bike and have it retain any of what I like about it. My current line of thought on that would be to stand him on a Grav Platform, possible a support one, and count that as his Jet Bike. Think that would be acceptable to you or rules in general?

Re:Farseer on a Grav Platform

I think it would be entirely appropriate and cool. Just so long as your opponent knew what it was before the game. I would suggest converting (at least slightly) the grav platform as well though, just to make sure people would not be confused in some way. Sounds like a cool idea. Go for it. When you have him done, pls post a pic in the modelling forum- I'd like to see your idea played out in form.

Re:Farseer on a Grav Platform

See if you can bits order the Throne from Vect's Ravager. Then mount a jetbike driver and seat behind the thone on top of the grav platform. Then it will look like some kind of high-tech shuttle service for important eldar. (I don't think I will look at old people being shuttled in airports the same way again).

Farseer on a Grav Platform

not only do I think it's perfectly legal, I think I might copy it for myself .

I'm never been big on Farseers and Warlock Bodyguards on jetbikes save for actual Warlocks in squads.

Now you've got me thinking, I have a 10 man bodyguard I think I'll convert something so they can stand on it.
