Eldrad Question

This came up last night, and I wanted to verify my understanding of some of the rules interactions regarding psychic powers. I did a search first, but if I missed a thread that addresses this topic my apologies for the duplication.

Eldrad's staff allows for the use of a third psychic power in a turn, even if the power has previously been used. If a player is attempting to utilize the staff for two "shooting powers" in the shooting phase (Mind War), does this allow Eldrad to get around the restriction that a model may only use one such power in a turn? I did not see any language in the Staff's entry that seemed to supercede the core rulebook, but I was unsure if some of the language in the Eldar codex about their psychic powers might open the door, in conjunction with the staff, to overriding that restriction.

Eldrad Question

That IS kinda what they mean by "even if the power has been previously used".

Use the power once, has the staff, use it twice... that's what it means.
