				<title>750pts. Radical Malleus Inquis./Misguided Marines</title>
				<description><![CDATA[ Ok, so here's  a list I put together thinking I should actually try to get some use out of this Inquis figure and Daemonhost so here goes.....<br /> <br /> <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(56);'>HQ</span>-<br /> Codicier- Fury of the Ancients, Terminator Armor- 128pts.<br /> <br /> Elites-<br /> Ordo Malleus Inquisitor-Psycannon, Power Armor, Power Weapon,  Familiar, Hierophant, x2 Vet. Guardsmen w/ Grenade Launcher + Plasmagun, Sage- 139pts.<br /> Daemonhost- 85pts.<br /> <br /> Troops-<br /> x10 Tactical Squad- x1 Missle Launcher, x1 Plasmagun- 170pts. (split them into x5 man combat squads as necessary).<br /> x5 Scouts- x1 Heavy Bolter- 70pts.<br /> <br /> Fast Attack-<br /> Land Speeder- 50pts. <br /> <br /> Heavy Support-<br /> Predator Destructor- Hvy. Bolter Sponsons- 110pts.<br /> <br /> Total comes to 752pts.  I could always change a few things around to get more points for other items, like Terminator Armor on the Librarian. 				<description><![CDATA[ So, I guess Im the first and only one to think of this kind of idea, and I cant believe that no one has congratulated me yet!<br /> I didnt really have a plan for the Inquisitor and his retinue, other than to use the psycannon/plasmagun/grenade launcher to be a pain in the ass, while the marines split up and do their thing, the Librarian and Daemonhost running around causing havoc and the 2 vehicles do what they do best....shoot things of course.<br /> <br /> Anyone who has better builds for the Inquisitor/Retinue please feel free to contribute!<br /> <br /> Thanks!<br /> <br />  <img src="/s/i/a/14c66450d3b070f68b52cf6b9da1d421.gif" border="0">/  <img src="/s/i/a/4eef2cc3548cc9844a491b22ad384546.gif" border="0">]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ well as for the inquis and retinue...<br /> 1.he already has a +3 armor save so the power armor is redundant<br /> 2. if you are taking a daemonhunter give him a sweeter close combat weapon...a thunder hammer is 10pts more expensive but like 50x nicer, plus you have already made up those points by dropping the redundan power armor<br /> 3.really what i think is dumb is taking veteran guardsman in general, i mean they lack the power of the gun servitor and lack the ability to allocate wounds that a acolyte gives you.<br /> 4. the retinue and inquisitor lack a purpose. usually units work better if they have a purpose say close combat or heavy weapons. personally i like to take an ordo malleus inquisitor as a nasty heavy weapons team that shoots first at anything pooping up within <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(4);'>4D6</span> like this...<br /> <br /> Ordo Malleus Inquisitor...Psycannon, Ungents of Warding(optional)<br />           Gun servitor w/plasma cannon<br />           Gun servitor w/heavy bolter<br />           Gun servitor w/heavy bolter<br />           Sagex2<br />           Mystic<br /> <br /> the sages are there so you can reroll and your plasma cannon doesn;t go down on the first turn. the mystic allows you to fire first at all deep striking units coming within 24". since you have some serious fire power this defintely affects the way your opponent plays ]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ While I dont disagree that the Inquis. + Retinue dont fulfill any particular purpose, other than decent ranged firepower harassment, and I did overlook that whole mystic ability to shoot deep strikers as well as daemons, I was kinda looking the otherway from just using the cookie cutter gun servitor route that everyone seems to be rolling with these days.  Yes, I realize that guardsmen dont get heavy bolters and plasmacannons, or even multimeltas, but what I did keep in mind is that I can keep moving and shooting with the current squad, versus the servitors which I believe need to be stationary (despite the 24" and 36" gun ranges).  <br /> Are there any other decent Inquisitor + Retinue builds even angled towards the Witch Hunters list.<br /> <br /> The whole theme I had in mind was an radical malleus inquisitor who employs daemonhosts teaming up with a like-minded librarian who thinks "fight fire with fire" sounds like a decent prospect.<br /> SO, any other comments are welcome!<br /> <br /> Thanks!<br />  <img src="/s/i/a/5d13fa41280d6fdef786d41bc175d3f6.gif" border="0">]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ You can only "keep moving and shooting" in a rather limited sense. Plasmaguns and psycannons can fire on the move, sure, but they really want to sit still. <img src="/s/i/a/39ea8e0dbfb45dcc6b802cd0e198dba3.gif" border="0"><br /> <br /> The reason everyone uses the cookie cutter build is that it works. I don't know if yours will. At the very least standardise those special weapons (and add a third) and lose those useless Hierophants.]]></description>
