				<description><![CDATA[ I like The Hammer and we've now gotten a taste of the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(143);'>WD</span> mortals changes.  Here's my initial list combining the two.<br /> <br /> L:	Harry the Hammer<br /> H:	Exalted Champion - book of secrets, <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(50);'>gw</span>, shield<br /> H:	Sorcerer - <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(101);'>MoS</span>, <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(347);'>lvl</span> 2, chaos steed, power stone, scroll<br /> H:	Sorcerer - <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(347);'>lvl</span> 2, chaos steed, power stone, scroll<br /> <br /> C:	19 Chosen Warriors - shield, full command<br /> C:	5 Marauder Horsemen - flails, musician<br /> C:	5 Marauder Horsemen - flails, musician<br /> <br /> S:	5 Knights - <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(101);'>MoS</span>, full command<br /> S:	Chariot<br /> S:	Chariot<br /> <br /> R:	2 Spawn<br /> <br /> Not sure how close that cuts it, but if needed I suppose we could call it a 2250 list <img src="/s/i/a/3280d57d913d8178fb42a55db16d1e89.gif" border="0">.  I'd likely give the spawn <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(100);'>MoN</span> if possible, as rumors suggest they may get the demonic loci from the demons book - <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(101);'>MoS</span> = <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(474);'>ASF</span>, <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(100);'>MoN</span> = regen, etc.<br /> <br /> Look competitive at all?  Recall that Harry makes the unit he's in unbreakable.  The XC - or should he be <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(5);'>AC</span>? - I'm less set on but wanted another hitty character.  He's got the book for steed of shadows and more magic, and the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(50);'>gw</span> for chariot busting S7.  Thought about flail + steed but dunno.<br /> <br /> - Salvage]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ What I'd really like to know is how can one incorporate some flying demons to the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(143);'>wd</span> army (if that's even possible), I'd feel kinda naked without them. About the topic, the list seems to lack fodder units. It shouldn't be a big problem to get couple units of additional warhounds at least.]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ Boss where did you see a preview of the new mortals rules? I would love to take a peek at that. Obviously knights are moving to special (makes sense) but what have they done (if anything) to make the mountains of warriors that I currently have (and don't use) worth taking?<br /> <br /> As for the list, it does seem a little low on the model count and lack of flyers makes war machine hunting more difficult seems that the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(5);'>AC</span> would make a more cost effective missile but play testing should tell<br /> <br /> Papa Smurf]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ Papa, I've only read the brief rumors of the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(143);'>WD</span> article to hit soonish.  The parts that matter for what I'm scheming is:<br /> <br /> - warriors cheaper (1)<br /> - knights, chariots special<br /> - chariots cheaper (20)<br /> - no beasts or demons / very limited beasts or demons<br /> - spawn marks are more inline with the demonic loci that heralds grant their units in the demon book (nurgle = regen, slaanesh = <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(474);'>ASF</span>, khorne = hatred, tizz = ward?)<br /> <br /> I also busted out my book at last and ran the list with some points, and got this:<br /> <br /> L:	Harry the Hammer = 365<br /> H:	Exalted Champion - book of secrets, great weapon = 144<br /> H:	Sorcerer - level 2, chaos steed, scroll = 161<br /> H:	Sorcerer - level 2, chaos steed, scroll = 161<br /> <br /> C:	19 Warriors - shields, full command = 277<br /> C:	20 Marauders - flails, standard, musician = 135<br /> C:	5 Marauder Horsemen - flails, musician = 81<br /> C:	5 Marauder Horsemen - flails, musician = 81<br /> C:	5 Warhounds = 30<br /> C:	5 Warhounds = 30<br /> <br /> S:	5 Knights - full command = 215<br /> S:	Chariot = 100<br /> S:	Chariot = 100<br /> <br /> R:	2 Spawn = 120<br /> <br /> 2000 exactly. 				<description><![CDATA[ Really, no beast or daemons? I like the ability to mix the various units together. Cheaper chariots are good and definitely cheaper warriors but I'm not sure that a 1 pt per model drop is enough to make them viable. <br /> <br /> how do the marauder horse with flails work for you? I usually use shield/spear (cause thats how their modeled) and I find they get the job done and a little more survivable, just wondering if its worth the points (oopps!, just checked shield/spear is 1 pt more heh)<br /> <br /> I like your list, lots of units to make your opponent think carefully about what they want to engage and enough magic and magic defense to compete in every phase but the shooting<br /> <br /> PapaSmurf]]></description>

In game I tend to fluff my to hit rolls, and with max of 5 attaks that's like 2-3 hits on average, then maybe 1-2 wounds in the end.  Considering that I intend to use them as escorts for the mages and not dedicated war machine hunters, I think the shield's extra +1 <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(400);'>AS</span> is more useful.  I'd probably do spears too if I could find the points, because of modeling ease again.<br /> <br /> - Salvage]]></description>
