				<title>1500 Ork Boyz</title>
				<description><![CDATA[ Well a new league is starting in my area and it is 1500 points. I am not use to this size of game so I figured I would post my army. These are the models I left 10 bikes, 30 grots, 2 slavers, about 13 slugas, 4 big shoota orks, 3 rockit laucha orks, standerd boss, 8 nobs, 1 nob with waaagh banner, 3 <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(186);'>def</span> dreads, and 3 killa kanz. As you can see I have alot of models but not as much veriety as I would like. At the end I had a few extra points so instead of a kitted out war boss I gave him mega armor. The two meks in the burna mob are also filler also a little extra tank hunting does not hurt. Oh I do have a unopened box of 16 ork boyz and a broken battle waggon. They will walk with the other 41 boys under the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(163);'>KFF</span>. If they die cool then my larger mobs are getting shot less. But what ussualy happenes is my oppenents are too worried about the truck boyz. Still that is 30 points, its just with waht I own 30 points is hard to fit in. Any thoughts?]]></description>

If their role is to get shot instead of the larger mobs, it would make far more sense to just use those points to add numbers to those large mobs instead. 12 Burnas is enough points to max out the two foot mobs with change to spare for special weapons (including some for the Trukk boys).<br /> <br /> Or you could drop them down to a 5-boy squad and add the BW.]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ <br /> <br /> at the risk of sounding like the majority of ork players posting...  <br /> <br /> why not Lootas?   replace the burna boyz with some dakka dakka....<br /> <br /> lootas are very good at hunting light tanks and and killing armfulls of infantry... <br /> <br /> use your 43 extra points and drop one buggy and you can max them out to 15 (which is how I prefer to play them)<br /> <br /> <br /> I like burna boyz... don't get me wrong, but I have had a few games where they did nothing all game<br /> especially when I didn't give them transportation...<br /> <br /> I have NEVER had a game, where my loota did nothing...  maybe they didn't win the game for me every game, but they always were able to affect the battle<br /> <br /> <br /> if you stick with the burna boyz, give the mek boyz rokkit launchas... that allows them to at least attempt to help every now and then<br /> <br /> ]]></description>
