				<description><![CDATA[ I am pretty new to chaos in general, so im looking for some advice on an army.<br /> <br /> <br /> Chaos Lord<br /> --deamon weapon/Mark of Tz./disc of Tz.<br /> <br /> 8 Nurgle marines<br /> --2x plasma guns<br /> <br /> 8 Nurgle marines<br /> --2x plasma guns<br /> <br /> 3 Terminators<br /> --3x combi-plasma guns<br /> <br /> 3 Terminators<br /> --3x combi-plasma guns<br /> <br /> 8 Havocs<br /> --4x missle launchers/icon of chaos glory<br /> <br /> 3 Obliterators<br /> 3 Obliterators<br /> <br /> 10 Raptors<br /> --Aspiring champ./p. fist/mark of khorne<br /> <br /> I dont have all the models quite yet, but i like the missle launchers, they tend to scare a lot of things in most armies. also the people i play with tend to use a decent amount of area terrain so they usually have a place to get cover. that also helps with hiding the raptors and chaos lord. termies are deep strike units that go for the obvious, skimmers and other termies, broadsides and the such.<br /> <br /> like i said, any advice would be great, since im pretty new to the dark side <img src="/s/i/a/baf5f2e54c6b17d5c5d39aecadfa1272.gif" border="0"><br /> thanks]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ drop the lord for a demon prince. is better in everyway to a lord and for less points. <br /> <br /> a <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(262);'>DP</span> with wings, mark of slaanesh and lash saves you 20pts are lets you bring things closer to shoot, move stuff away from objectives/out of cover/out of <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(85);'>LOS</span>.<br /> <br /> if you do that you will have points free to change the havocs to another 3 oblits. 9 oblits is sick (not to mention in terminator armour and fearless), much more so than a few havocs. a lash prince will also let you lash things into your templates. or you could just drop the havocs altogether and get a nice big squad of 8 noise marines with 7 sonicblasters and a blaster master.<br /> <br /> whatever you decide to do at least change the lord for a demon prince<br /> <br /> ]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ i understand everyones call on joining the units of termies, but around where i play they never get into assualt. or they die before doing anything other than shoot once or twice the single auto cannon, soo might as well make the one or two rounds of fire count and give my opponent less <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(140);'>vps</span> at the time :/<br /> <br /> regwon:<br /> i do not understand the dropping the 4x missle launchers for noise marines, 4 <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(123);'>str</span> 8 <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(6);'>ap</span> 3 shots for 1 <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(123);'>str</span> 8 ap3 shot and a bunch of bolters, how would that be better if i need dakka when i can have 4 small bast that are the same <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(123);'>str</span>. please help me out with that if its better i will use it but need to know why you feel that way <br /> <br /> i think the reasons for a lord are big in this army, he can hide in my squad of raptors, and you cant give demon weapons to princes. the assualt <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(24);'>d6</span> <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(123);'>str</span> 4 ap3 24" range is great. also getting 6-10 attacks a turn is great. <br /> <br /> its not that i dont want to make a lash army, but i play eldar also and i prided myself on having a very competitive army with out 3 falcons...i know that lash would work, but i really like the lord with a deamon weapon idea. i just keep picturing a sword 3x the size of the lord, and that rocks.<br /> <br /> yes after the termies shoot the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(166);'>plas</span> they will be bolter\p weapon models but it provides 2 sqauds the enemy has to deal with or they will most likely be able to assualt something next turn, hopefully. if not they are the cheapest squads in the list, and it made my enemy shoot them for a turn.<br /> <br /> are the throw away termies squads really not that worth it? ]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ see in my list i have 2 units of 8 termies, and they always get into assault on my terms due to their deepstrike. they save the game for me every time. yes one units of 6 might not work so well, or put as much pressure on the enemy, but it's still a nasty thing to do, and then the opponent will have one squad he/she will have to worry about or their lines will get torn apart. either way it works, i just like twin linked bolters]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ my feelings are the same, but from a different approach i think. i also feel that termies are squads that opponents cannot ignore. however, from what ive seen playing the orks, <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(119);'>SM</span>, tau, necron and nids out at my <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(38);'>flgs</span>, either the shots wont pierce the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(6);'>ap</span> so its not that big of a deal or its going to kill most/all the squad anyway. deepstriking them is ok, but dont you ever have issues with deepstriking within assualt distance meaning that they get lit up and killed the next turn? <br /> <br /> i dont know <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(274);'>ymmv</span> but i guess everyone i play with uses as much plasma/melta as they can....]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ i do see lots of plasma and melta on the field opposite me usually, but if you keep worrying about that then anything you can field in a <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(22);'>CSM</span> list should fear those weapons as well. in my experience bold moves can be the ones that make or break the game, where average plain moves just end up making the game more math-hammerish]]></description>
