Tournament Orks [1850]

Multiples and the buzzing horde like feel of orks allows everything to focus together like a tidal wave.

Lootas for dealing with skimmers and light vehicles, and if nothing else, light-medium infantry. Warboss for general combat support and heavy tank hunting. SAG mek for general chaos and clusters of heavy infantry. Large core of cheap trukk mobs to provide solid numbers, hiding behind terrain and charging through it. When terrain isn't dense enough, skorchas can also double as a shield in a pinch, but also help to deal with hordes such as nids/orks, but also to distract and annoy the )*$# out of opponents. Skorchas are going to be my MVP most games I predict. Lobbas, because they are cheap, and go with the theme of having a blitzkrieg-like artillery barrage before the lightning rush of troops pouring out of transports on the frontlines.

I know it's cookie-cutter, but I like taking multiples. Not just because it's effective, but I'm a little bit OCD about having two of one unit (for fast attack as an example) and one unit with a completely different utility. I like the look and feel of having multiples of the same unit for back up and feel like there is more organization to the list rather than doing what people expect of orks and having a chaotic and random looking (and generally not very competitive) army. It's okay for just about every other army to take repeats, but for orks you get called cookie cutter. whatevz..

Anywho--tell me what you think! If there is anything you could possibly perceive of suggesting, spit it out, I won't be offended. If you are going to offer criticism and tell me what one or more of my choices suck, then PLEASE, offer another recommendation. Popping into a topic to say something isn't good, but not offering an alternative, is pretty much pointless.

Thanks in advance!
