1500 point Nid list (Non cookie cutter)

Okay, so after working hard on painting up my army in recent times, I've been working on getting a decent list together. I decided to go with a fairly elite force, with the emphasise more on warriors then the real big bugs. I still have 3 TMC, which is still a few, but won't get the cries of cheese. The idea of this army is to be a fast, shock force that will be in combat turn 2. I don't plan to have the Broodlord on his own, but rather infiltrating just ahead of the rest of my army and behind cover. This will ensure he and his unit can get to combat wherever needed unmolested.

Here it is. Any thoughts?

1500 Hive Fleet Behemoth

HQ

Hive Tyrant 146
Adrenal glands (both), toxin sacs, winged, 2 sets scything talons, synapse

Broodlord	80 176
toxin sacs
Retinue of 6 stealers 96

Elites
Tyranid Warrior Brood 105
x3, Extended carapace, leaping, scything talons, rending claws

Tyranid Warrior Brood 105
x3, Extended carapace, leaping, scything talons, rending claws

Carnifex	113
2 twin linked devourers, enhanced sences

Troops

Termagant Brood 72
x12, fleshborer

Termagant Brood 72
x12, fleshborer

Hormagaunt Brood 176
x16, AG (I)

Hormagaunt Brood 176
x16, AG (I)

Fast Attack

Tyranid Warrior Brood 196
Winged, Adrenal glands (both), extended carapace, toxin sacs, rending claws, scything talons
x4
Heavy Support

Carnifex 163
Reinforced Chitin, enhanced sences, venom cannon, barbed strangler

Cheers in advance

Needs another Gunfex. Warp Field on your Flyrant. Carapace on your Broodlord's retinue.

Battlekai wrote:Tyranid Warrior Brood 196
Winged, Adrenal glands (both), extended carapace, toxin sacs, rending claws, scything talons
x4

This unit is straight up illegal, because you can't take Carapace and wings.

If you expect the Warriors to carry the army, prepare to be disappointed.

I like that you've tired to make a balanced list (too bad its weak in this codex). I would recommend dropping those winged warriors asap, that should give you enough points for another gunfex. Also, warp field, and consider implant attack on the Flyrant. The leaping warriors are probably the best config, if you're set on taking warriors. If warriors were only a little cheaper, they would be a legit unit. As it is, we pay too much for too little, so might as well make them as cheap as possible. You could have 5 MC's and almost 70 troops in 1500 points, which is pretty nice.

It seems lie you are trying to make a VERY mobile list here, while keeping a few powerful normal elements, hence the dakka fex and the gunfex.

there are only two tanks in the entire game that your troops cant take out, so I personally don't know how much you will need gun fex's in the new rules. seriously.

If you give the broodlord feeder tendrils, all his retinue will get preferred enemy as well.
