				<description><![CDATA[ Okay, I am planning on splitting a few of the Assault on Black Reach boxes when they come out, which will make Orkz pretty cheap to play.  Add this with the fact that they're good in 5th Ed. and I have all the reason I need to play them. 				<description><![CDATA[ I would wonder why you have big choppas on your nobs.  Orks pretty much always go last anyways, so having Power Klaws only helps your assault power, rather than being a hindrance.  Three extra S9 attacks on the charge that ignore armor?  Sounds good to me.  Helps your hordes deal with pesky Dreadnoughts and Monstrous Creatures much better. <br /> <br /> I've personally never been a big fan of tankbustas.  They're still BS2, you can have your hordes shoot rokkit launchers when they aren't running, and you might shoot your own vehicles due to poor placement.  Their Tankhammerz don't help in close combat.<br /> <br /> I would up your model count per mob to the full 30.  This lets you take three special weapons instead of two (I think, don't have a codex in front of me), and it helps your boyz survive long enough to actually use them.  Between being shot on the charge towards the enemy, and likely going last in combat (they're still only I3 on the charge, I2 without), 20 boyz would get torn through before they do any real damage.  Bringing 30 and sticking to cover means you'll probably have ten-fifteen or so boyz left to finish the assault round with more than just your nob.<br /> <br /> Your deff dreads might be better off being killa kanz with rokkit launchers, since it's the only BS3 unit in the army and can fire the high-power rokkits.<br /> <br /> I personally have no experience with dethkoptas.  I see why you'd bring them, they're practically free in the set you're buying, but I just personally can't see using them when there are other things in the ork codex to put those points towards, like more boyz.<br /> <br /> You also might want to consider buying the Green Tide box twice.  It's a relatively cheap way to max out your troop choices.  Even without any discounts your local shop might offer, or what you can find online... $125 for 100 boyz comes to $1.25 per boy.  At 1850 points like you want to run, I honestly wouldn't consider bringing any less than 160 boyz, preferably the full 180 (minus the six <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(107);'>pk</span> nobs, of course).]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ Edit: You posted that new list right before I posted this... so my advice needed a little tweaking.<br /> <br /> The 'Eavy Armor on your Warboss makes him move with the Slow and Purposeful rule, meaning <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(1);'>2d6</span>" take the highest.  This will drastically slow down any mob he's with, since you will average 4's with the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(1);'>2d6</span> movement.  The attack Squig is an extra attack with your power klaw, so good call there.<br /> <br /> Nine Rokkit Kans, though really cool to see walk onto the battlefield, are a bit excessive.  Six rokkits per turn means three hit whatever tank you're shooting at.  At S8, unless you're trying to knock out a Land Raider or Monolith (never shoot at Monoliths anyways), you should destroy or severely hinder whatever tank is bothering you.  the extra 180 points is better put elsewhere.<br /> <br /> Where you ask?  Lootas!  A 12-15 man Loota squad can rain havoc on unsuspecting people.  d3, 48", S7, AP3 goodness.  At only BS2, though, you'll only connect with a third of the shots fired.  So your 15 Lootas sit at full range from the enemy to minimize return fire, always in cover (they're still orks, so they wear t-shirts to battle), and fire your deffguns to your heart's content.  15 Lootas, say you roll a 5 or 6 to determine how many shots are fired... that's 45 shots.  15 of those hit, 12-13 of them wound at AP3.  That's 12-13 dead Marines in one sitting.  "But they were sitting in cover!"  Then why were you shooting them and not someone who wasn't?  But still, in cover they get a 4+ save... 6-7 dead Marines.  Still not too shabby.  That many S7 shots means you also annihilate skimmers, transports, and dreadnoughts with relative ease whenever they don't have squads of squishier things to shoot within range.  Their AP3 means you really want to shoot at anything foolhardy enough to walk out of cover.  A Tyranid's elite carnifex (dakkafex or stranglerfex) is only armor 3, and I've seen people do very dumb things with walking in straight lines out in the open with them.  Even in cover, a good roll on shots fired means dead 'Fex.<br /> <br /> Again, no experience with Dethkoptas, hope they work out well.  I might look into them a bit more, hoping that the  ridiculously low cost in the starter kit will mean they're worth buying and using.]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ I agree with sheep here.<br /> The mek/kan screen is one of the highly effective ways of using orks.<br /> <br /> However, i would tweak it a tad.<br /> <br /> <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(56);'>HQ</span>'s - Kustom <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(545);'>FF</span> mek and a warboss for his Waaagh! (even ghaz if you can free up the points)<br /> <br /> Core of the army - Boyz, units of 30 with a klaw nob and a bosspole (the pole is essential)<br /> <br /> the screen - 9 kanz, 6 with <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(126);'>TL</span> rokkitz for tank hunting and 3 with grotzookas for killing mass infnatry.<br /> <br /> Possibly even a deff dread with 2x skorcha (very cheap and effective) and throw him in as a troop choice (the mek makes this possible)]]></description>

Ghazzy is amazing and i would never run a footsloggin army without him....he is a lot of points though.  <br /> <br /> Also, i dont find the bosspole essential if your running 30 boyz to a unit.  Just run maxed out boyz squads, 9 Kans, <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(163);'>KFF</span> Mech and ghazzy if you can...then have fun kicking the gak out of most everyone.  ]]></description>
