AUCTION TIME!

Yep, the unruly masses are calling for another one of our used game auctions. This one is at the Granite Run store. Sunday, Aug. 3rd. We open at 11:00am. Buyers can register from 11 to 12, and bidding starts at 12. The lots will be out on display at 11, so you'll have an hour to look them over.



Same setup as usual:
-You may use credit cards to pay.
-People with multiple lots can start a box and pay at the end.
-All bids are serious. Making a 'fake bid', bidding on your own lot, or 'just running something up', will all get you kicked out of the store for a long, long time. Bid how you like, but you win it/you buy it.
-Small breaks will be taken to let people pick up items they won, and get refreshments.

The vast majority of the items are unpainted. Average winning bids tend to be 25% to 40% of retail value. The speed round mentioned above is for the last 50 or so lots that have little interest. We do them very fast to the remaining people, usually going for 1 or 2 dollars a lot.

I originally thought that after running a couple of these, I'd have exhausted the supply of old stuff in the area. Not the case, as this is number 7 and no lack of stuff. Of course, we've been selling tons of GW figs for two decades, so in some ways that makes sense.

Everyone seems to have fun at them. Bargains are good, Sellers are happy to get lots of credit for new stuff.
