With either the BT or LOC/kairos I will have 2 tzeentch heralds and a nurgle herald to back them up. I am just curious what people normally take?

BT is a great addition to an already strong CC army. If your army is mixed, I'd actually vote for a GUO or KOS. They tend to do the multiple role thing better and support a well balanced army better. I view the 4 GDs on a scale going from all CC/no magic on one side to minimized CC/Maximized magic on the other end like this: BT, KoS, GUO, LOC. The same is true of the special character variants.

With your build, I'd say a well done GUO will be your best bet. He has respectable movement of 6, 10 wounds, and he can assassinate characters really well if you give him the balesword and noxious vapors. First round of combat you are Str 8 auto wound multiplied into d6 wounds. But if you were going out of the two you mentioned, I would go BT.
