Skaven rules in general, older generation players oppinions needed.

ok, on the rough topic of rules, im just wondering why the skaven greater daemon and the doomwheel were taken out of the list, the older characters like skrolk, queek, sniktch still have rules, but 2 of the best looking skaven models are gone.
the doomwheel, i was going to use as a warplightning cannon.
the vermin lord, that could be a problem.

also, i dont have the skaven armies book, i ordered it, but lost in the postage.
the assassin triads for clan eshin, what can they take weapon wise? and what slot do they take up? (ie: special, rare)

thank you for your advice / oppinions.

JD

Sniktch has the more official rules of the lot you listed, but otherwise their rules appeared in WD or online and are only semi-official, opponent's permission stuff anyway. Note that this includes the vermin lord and doomwheel

Pity about your book, but once again your Eshin answer is supplied for free by GeeDub. A triad is three assassins with two poisoned hand weapons and poisoned throwing stars, the only upgrade option is smoke bombs. They're rare choices.

- Salvage

only reason im going for eshin is my love for assassins, and sniktch (the best model GW have made) leading an army of assassins is my idea of fun.

thanks for this salvage, life saver with this info
got told the triads were a special choice, which i thought was a bit weird.

thanks again.
