For washes, try yellow ink over white primer with a wash of Ogryn Flesh. This creates a bright, cartoonish yellow.

Thanks for the reply. I've had some real problems when washing yellow. I'm guessing I can't just slap the wash on, that I'll have to actually "paint" it into the recesses?

Paint everything bestial brown or snakebite leather (doesn't really mater)
a few coats of golden yellow
chestnut ink
a few more coats of golden yellow
highlight with sunburst yellow
highlight with bleached bone sunburst mix
an extremely light drybrush of bleached bone

This is why there are so many "Master Painters" on ebay. They all think they look "masterful," but we really know the deal...

Dantheangry's and lifeafter's yellows are STRIKINGLY different from one another. Were I the OP, I would see that Dantheangry's yellow suits my aesthetic tastes more and would be the yellow of the two that I would shoot for, using his suggested method. Would the two of them have not posted pics, I would have had no idea what look their methods would produce despite any claims they would make.

4-1 water-fleash wash +surfactant
highlight with golden yellow
highlight with 50/50 white/golden
highlight with 75/25 white/golden

I used BURNTLACK graphic spray - Lemon Yellow over a Skull White primer. This gives a very pale, lemony yellow, but then a quick wash of Yellow Ink darkened it suitably.
