If you are wondering why the bret icon its because blood knights where from a old bretonian company from blood keep called blood dragons.

well after talking with my Mother in Law and her reading the page on Blood knights in the codex and her giving some input I weathered the shields and added some skull decals.

I use this method to weather tanks and vehicles. Since decals and insignia often look too fresh, this method helps tone them down.
