Sounds to me like you got a bad can. Take it back to the store and get a new one. If that one goes bad, take IT back and get a refund. Then, take the refund to a store that sells Testors paint and buy a can of Testors matte sealer (flattest matte I've seen).

If THAT can messes up... Then, the problem's you. LOL

Testors is good but it will eventually darken as it will absorb the oils from your skin. It's also one of the more expensive solutions.
