So here it is...Please Comment and Criticize!

Still want to add to add lighting effects to the area around the power fist, as well as around some of the lights and stuff. I also want to possibly add some battle damage. If any one has a good way to do either of these feel free to tell me.

i think that the right shoulder guard need work. It's just a style thing, but I don't really like the way that you painted that edging around it with a different color. I think that a normal hilight would work better. Also, Maybe the fingers should be black... but again thats just a style thing

As far as battle damage, bullet hoes, and claw marks are the easiest things to do. But they require that you repaint the damaged area.

Bullet holes are super easy. You just get an exacto knife, use it to drill a small hole into the armor, then cut shallow triangles out of it. this is to make it look like armor got chipped away from the impact

(it won't look like that, but thats basically what you want to do. Just make the triangles different sizes and at weird angles.)

Are the barrels drilled out? If not you may wanna try that.

Is that green stuff on the base? Whats your plan with that?

For battle damage, it depends on how extreme you wanna go. A small dab of bleached bone or other near white color with a black trim surrounding it looks like light chips in the paint/outer armor. If you want to go more extreme with small chunks missing, using your Xacto knife to drill out a small hole then cut out small sections to make a mini crater/bullet hole works perfectly. Practice a couple times on a sprue, though it's surprisingly easy.

The silver on the gun/hoses looks like it needs a wash. Looks a bit flat, though it could be the pic.

Are the fronts of the boots/feet/whatever shaded in the recesses?

The right shoulder bone color looks like it went on pretty thick. Thin the paint down some perhaps?

Ok, things I like. The highlighting on the chest eagle is awesome. How'd you do that?

Nice eyes, nice "power" effect as well. The freehand grabs my attention as well.

So I put another highlight on the metal, and redid the right hand shoulder pad. i also put some highlighting on the freehand stuff. wondering if anyone thinks i need another coat of baal red wash ot tone down the red highlights.

Also, the model is for a contest where it cant be converted, so i am not going to do any actual battle damage with an xacto and risk being dq

the gold was done in a pretty simple process. start out bleached bone, and add sepia gryphonne. then highlight with bleached bone, add more sepia. Eventually toward the end i used white, and finished it with another wash of sepia.

actually im just painting this up for a contest. I might paint up another 4 and ebay the squad when im done, but i am not really sure.

Looks great! I can't tell if the barrels are drilled out or not, but I'd suggest doing that.
