a farseer can cast fortune on himself, his squad, his transport or any unit within 6" of the tansports. he may do this even though eldar transports have no fire points, because his ability doesnt require LOS. if a model has an ability that is measured from them and they are embarked on a transport, then you measure from the hull of the transport.

this also applies to your guy with a teleport homer. an auspex would measure 4d6 from the edge of the landraider, however the model with the auspex would be unable to shoot at anything within that range because the landraider has no fire points. the landraider would be unable to fire because, although the model is embarkd on it, they are considered separate units in all cases.
