				<description><![CDATA[ Hi all,<br /> This is my first time posting on these forums, and im just getting back into the game after comming to uni last year, so i havent yet played with the 5th edition rules.. however im thinking of going to the warhammer world verterns night (as i live in nottingham) next week and taking a 1500points ork army with me. I gave every squad a power klaw to deal with vehicles.  Can anyone offer me any advice or ways to improve my list? I was thinking of maybe turning the two units of shoota's into 1 30man squad and trying to get a bigmek with a <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(163);'>KFF</span>.<br /> ]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ I'd keep the nobs, 45 <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(123);'>str</span> 5 attacks coming out of a trukk is nothing to be sneezed at, especially with them acting as a scoring unit as well.<br /> <br /> however I would take your two big mobs and turn them into trukk mobs, so you have 5 trukk mobs.  it's most likely that at 1500 points there will not be enough firepower to take down all five trukks in one turn, making tivery likely for you to get the charge in with atlest one squad.<br /> <br /> typically at low points levels that results in the destruction of the offending squads.<br /> <br /> I'd make the buggies shoota buggies, and make them squads of three as well, 18 twinlinked str5 sp5 shots are no slouch, and will soften up a hard unit for a charge of the boyz.<br /> <br /> but for a 1500 mech boys list, this is not too shabby.]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ thanks for the reply guys.<br /> Just to clear things up the Warboss is in the group of Nobz, and i think the big choppa is just as viable as the power klaw for a warboss nowdays, str5+2(big choppa)+1 (furious charge)= 8str and i dont give up his high Int either so he should be attacking first, with enough <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(123);'>str</span> to instant kill any toughness 4 units.]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ Well the warboss can still get a glancing on a 6 with a Big Choppa, and i have plenty of nobz in my army with <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(107);'>PK</span>'s to open up tanks aswell as the buggy's to get on the sides of tanks, but in 1.5k points how many armor 14 tanks will i be up against? ]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ Eavy armour for a few of the nobs to give them a better armour save would get my vote, as would a couple of power klaws in that Nobs Mob, although you do seem to have a pleasing number across the other squads. <br /> <br /> See how you find the shootas now, I'd be looking at some bigger 25- 30 hordes of sluggas, ok it'll take them ages to get in range and into the fight, but they can run now, and when they do get up close and personal they'll sweep through anything, especially if they're screened by a 15-20 shootas who can lay down covering fire and absorb all the bullets on their way across the field. ]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ I think that even if the Warboss <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(74);'>init</span>. is nice, giving up your best <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(482);'>AT</span> unit is too much of a sacrifice, even if you have <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(107);'>PK</span> nobs in your troops, but your troops will probably be doing something else.<br /> <br /> I'd say... Cut 1 Buggy and make 1 unit of 3 (35p), replace <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(389);'>BC</span> with <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(107);'>PK</span> (15p) and take a Waaagh! banner on the Nobs. If you cut 1 Kommando on each squad and cut the 21th Shoota, you can put a <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(107);'>PK</span> on the Nob squad and hit 1499p.<br /> <br /> Oh and place the Boss Pole on the Nobs, not on the Boss. That way you can move the boss somewhere else if you need without turning the nobs in pussycats.]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ I kinda like the idea of taking the warboss outa the nobz so they dont have to follow him about, and the waagh banner seems like a solid choice, but i still dont think the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(107);'>PK</span> on the warboss is worth it, int 6 on a charge means hes ganna be pretty much striking first and just ripping gak apart with igh <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(149);'>WS</span> from waagh banner and then <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(123);'>str</span> 8 from chopper, pretty much 2+ to hit and wound on anything.]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ Slight correction, can't be better than 3+ to hit.  That being said, the WAAAGH! Banner doesn't really enable him to do that any more than he normally could at WS5.  Other Assault Specialists tend to be WS6 already except for Banshees and Scorpions.  However, it does let the Nobz hit on 3+ against Marines, which is just plain awesome.]]></description>
