New SM LS kit- How do you make a magnetic flying base?

 Correct forum this time

I just bought the new SM Land speeder kit. As promised, the kit is a pleasure to put together compared to the old style plastic. On top of that, It's got all of the weapon options for every variation of speeder with the exception of the FW variant (obviously).

I built mine with typhoon launchers to compliment my army, but ran in to a bit of a snag. The missile assembly (has the missiles poiting out), can be a bit of a bitch. The directions and box show you how it should be mounted, BUT there is no guide on the actual model. There are just two flush sides that don't quite match up. When I looked at my Ravenwing upgrade sprue, I saw the exact same piece, but it had 4 pegs which allow you to easily mount the missile assembly exactly where it goes. Easy fix for me All of the other options are easy peazy to build. The best part was that this single kit let me finish of 2 othe rmodels- Melta for an attck bike and the Heavy Flamer nozzle for my SG Veteran's heavy flamer.

Actual Question:

While assembling said LS, I drilled a nice hole in the bottom of the hull where the flying stand inserts and glued a 1/4 inch magnet inside. I then clipped the end of the flying stand and glued another magnet to that and let everything dry overnight. On the first test of my first magnetic flying stand, CLICK!, the magnet on the stand breaks the glue bond and flys to the underside of the LS. Great, I got the polarity correct, but how the
do I keep the magnet attached to the flying stand? Thanks in advance for the assistance.

Answered your first post... I've never heard of the magnet being strong enough to break a dried glue bond. I'd let the thing sit for a whole day and try that again. If it still has issues, i'd get some stuff... I'm not sure which color dries harder than green. Maybe Gray, maybe brown. I've only heard the scale break down on stuff once. But I'd get the harder stuff and build up a cup around your magnet so you have more surface to glue to.
