Here are the models I have

3 Tyranid warriors

5 spore mine thingies

3 ripper swarms

about 10 gaunts with guns

about 5 gaunts with poky things

18 gene stealers.

BAM...

So what else does my friend need? You have Genestealers so you do not really need a lot of Synapse. Get a Broodlord and a couple Carnies and you are good to go. Zoanathropes are good, so are Hive Tyrants and more Warriors.
