Use dental plaster.
Give them a couple days to dry properly.
Use wood glue to glue them together
Mix black paint in with your water when you mix the plaster this really helps hide chipping (we are quite rough with ours sometimes they hold up really well considering)
use a mix of jet dry and water in a spray bottle to spray the molds before pouring this helps break up surface tension and results in less bubbles


Anything with Gothic in the title works great in 40k combined with his other basic blocks
Something like 40 43 44 50 54 55

212 and 311 make great necron terrain in the right colors

300 makes great bunkers
