Question on the stacking of the Number 5 spell in Lore nurgle killing regiments in one turn.

I was wondering about a rule that no one knows about. The number 5 nurgle lore spell is a remains in play spell that takes away a strength and toughness every magic phase yours and opponents. When the toughness or strength reached zero the unit dies crumbles to nothing. Now it I have a lvl 4 and two lvl 2s with that spell do they stack if I all target the same unit. Which means if I successfully cast it three times I can kill entire regiments in my magic phase since they lose 3 toughness or strength right away and crumble. Talking about almost any core regiment dieing outright.

Yeah, but that's only if you happen to roll up those spells. Nasty indeed, if you're lucky enough. You also have to invest a lot of points... you can break a unit with a powerful offensive spell and just move on to another, instead of focussing everything on, say, one unit in a Skaven army.

Yeah but focusing three wizards and that spell on a stormvirmen unit and killing the whole thing out right would be awesome.

Question on the stacking of the Number 5 spell in Lore nurgle killing regiments in one turn.

I'm just saying your wizard's spells are random, so it's not too reliable a strategy. Go ahead, waste your magic phase on my Stormvermin. If you had broken them in any other fashion they have a pretty bad chance of rallying anyway.

What you're asking is if spamming a good spell is an effective tactic. The answer is obviously yes, but it's not a strategy because you can't rely on rolling up that spell on EVERY wizard.

You're investing a lot of points in those wizards, the spells can be dispelled like anything else, and for the skaven example, you're horribly outnumbered. And the ratling guns are gonna getcha.

...And you posted this thread twice.
