A unit with an unbreakable character and shambling horde

I take Orion and put him a unit of wild riders. I charge a unit of zombies. I lose the combat by one. The wild riders have to take a break test, but Orion is unbreakable and takes a wound (unless he's with 6" of some trees)

The wild riders fail their break test and flee.

The zombies have a rule called shambling horde, it's bascially instead of doing a persue/flee. A normal unit just fights Orion and can't persue the wild riders. Do the zombies get to attack the wild riders as they flee, and also continue to fight Orion?

A unit with an unbreakable character and shambling horde

I'd say not.

If only a single unit flees, then you cannot pursue as you are still locked in combat.

Shambling Horde is a rule in place of pursuit. Ergo, you must be able to pursue as normal in order to gain any benefit from Shambling Horde.

Though I have to ask the question...what the hell happened man? Orion and his Lads losing to Zombies????
