				<description><![CDATA[ ok so i'm just gettng back into <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(144);'>WH</span> and i was trying out Morghur in my Beast of chaos army ... i was fighting a mixed army of Demons ... we play the game and then his unit of pink horrors rolled a miscast and then a double 6 ... this is when it gets iffy ... Morghurs bray-staff turns any wizard, that suffers a miscast and rolls any double, into a spawn with as many wounds as the wizard  did ...<br /> <br /> now this was a friendly game so we basicly turned a unit of 30 horrors into a single spawn with 30 wounds that then attcked the poor herald that was left ... <br /> <br /> so what we want to know is did we play this right or was there another option? <br /> <br /> thanks Tri<br /> <br /> rules<br /> Morghur's Braystaff<br /> if a Wizard (friend or foe) rolls a double when rolling on the miscast table, then the unfortunate wizard is instantly turned into a chaos spawn under the control of the Beastmen player, and the rolled result on the miscast table is ignored.<br /> <br /> Pink Horrors - magic<br /> A unit of Pink horros is a wizard that can cast Spells from the daemon lore if Tzeentch<br /> <br /> could find no ref MDG to appling the effects to a single horror ... can you quote a book and page or an <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(36);'>FAQ</span> please<br /> ]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ Hmm. Good question.<br /> <br /> From what I remember, historically, in the event of a miscast the effects are applied to a single Horror. This implies that a single Horror is used to work out the spells point of origin when tracing <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(85);'>LoS</span> etc.<br /> <br /> So, one would say that with Morghur, the same thing happens, and a Horror is spawnified. The rationale behind this is that the Horror is question acted as the conduit for the gestalt power of the unit. Rather than drawing on the Wind of Magic, the Horrors draw from themselves, with a single one being the focussing the point. If anything is going to happen, it's going to happen to him!<br /> <br /> Well, thats my call anyways without the book near me. If it says the same about Miscasts in the Daemon Book, then I would assume the same goes for Morghurs power.]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ Currently at work, so not book to check, but...<br /> When the unit of Horrors casts a spell, you nominate a single horror as the caster for purposes of determining range, line of sight, etc.  <br /> <br /> If the unit miscasts, you don't go to the miscast table, but instead the unit suffers <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(24);'>d6</span> wounds.  I think.<br /> <br /> So it's a case of Morghur's special rule (turn the caster into a spawn, instead of rolling on the table) versus the Horrors' special rule (take wounds, instead of rolling on the table), and the best you can do is probably dice off for it.<br /> <br /> My inclination, in situations like this, is to go with whichever rule will cause the least, shall we say, <i>advantageous</i> result.  In this case, losing <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(24);'>d6</span> horrors is more damaging to the affected player than getting a serendipitous 30-wound spawn, so I'd argue for the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(24);'>d6</span> wounds.  ]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ Fellblade is correct in that a horror unit that miscasts will suffer <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(24);'>D6</span> Wounds with no saves. <br /> <br /> Since only one dice is rolled Morghur's ability will never come into play. ]]></description>
