I'm not sure of all what's in the revell line, but I do know Testors has a line of paints made to go in the airbrush w/no thinning required & have a wide range of metalics. I don't know if revell is acrylic or not. Testors is enamel. I've also used regular Testors & thinned it 50/50 w/great success. Hope that helps.

Did you have any luck?

Vallejo have more colours than gw have so i'd imagine they'd have what you need.

Whatever you do do'nt compromise on something which wasn't intended for models as a lot of air brush paint out there is made for t-shirts and the like.

Re:Recommendable airbrush colors ?

Not yet. :S

Most companys selling airbrush colors for plastic models seem to be a case of "mail order" here.
The loss of revell is a great hit since they were almost everywhere.
Now, ressources of colors for plastic modelling are reduced to 1 hobbystore.
He will replace revell-colors but i can't remember the company.

So i'am still searching.

Recommendable airbrush colors ?

1hadhq most of the paints I use in my airbrush are just thinned down brush paint. Enamel paint I use mineral spirits or just plain paint thinner usually a 50/50 mix. Tamiya (acrylic) paint works good I don't remember the mixture ratio a friend told me works the best. Craft paint can also be used. For both Tamiya & the craft paint I used rubbing alcohol. You'll have to play w/the mixture ratio to get what works best for you. Don't use water...trust me on this.

Recommendable airbrush colors ?

1hadhq I have a question. Being I'm not totally familiar w/ what's exactly in this shop do yourself a favor. Ask someone in the shop if the paint in question is specificaly for RC-car lexan bodies. Years ago someone told me paints for lexan bodies don't "stick" well to regular plastic. It might be an "old wives tale" I honestly don't know. As for Pactra paint... I haven't seen it in years in the US. I still get old discontinued Pactra paint from an old man who owns a model railroad type shop out of his house. It's still good & I've mixed it 50/50 w/paint thinner for airbrushing & it work great. (it's also enamel) Let me know how this all turns out.
