razorback clarification

If I have a full 10 man tac squad
can I take a razorback and split the unit into 2 combat squads, and then put one of the combat squads into said razorback during deployment?

My instinct says no but I keep on hearing different opinions on this. Can anyone confirm one way or another

razorback clarification

In DA, yes. In normal SM, no, you cannot deploy a combat squad in a razorback. You must delineate how units in reserve are mounted in transports when they are kept in reserve, but the option to combat squad occurs when they are actually deployed onto the table - so until that point you have a unit of ten men, and cannot choose to keep them in reserve in the Razorback. Now, at deployment, you could move a combat squad into the razorback, of course.

Also, if you have chosen to transport that unit by droppod, then you can't combat squad them, because you can't have multiple units (each combat squad would become their own unit) in one transport. in other words, at the time you set your transport options for reserves, you choose whether to include the entire unit, or none of the unit, in the transport.
