				<description><![CDATA[ I'm in NO WAY isinuating that this is a full proof on my god way to play necrons but, I do think it's worth considering.<br /> <br /> Lord- Res Orb 140<br /> <br /> 6 immortals 168<br /> <br /> 6 immortals 168<br /> <br /> 6 immortals 168<br /> <br /> 10 warriors 180<br /> <br /> 10 warriors 180<br /> <br /> 10 warriors 180<br /> <br /> 10 warriors 180<br /> <br /> 10 warriors 180<br /> <br /> 8 Scarab Swarms 96<br /> <br /> 8 Scarab Swarms 96<br /> <br /> 8 Scarab Swarms 96<br /> <br /> Monolith 235<br /> <br /> Monolith 235<br /> <br /> Monolith 235<br /> <br /> =2537 (viable in ard boyz)<br /> <br /> The list is designed to buy time and shoot you to death.  Basically you WANT to go second (shocking isn't it)  <img src="/s/i/a/8f7b3f87df347f2cf6c1e7d5e119a067.gif" border="0"> After you see how the enemy deploy react by castleing up in a corner.  While the enemy tries to advance turbo boost a ring of 1 scarab unit forward so that they're 1" from multiple enemy units spread them out so that each models is 2" apart.  The enemy (assuming not jump infantry, jetbikes or tanks) is now stuck behind your wall and with an effective 2+ cover save and 3 wounds shooting is not going to get the job done.  So the enemy can't advance for a turn while your chipping away at him with 50 warriors and 18 immortals not to mention 3 particle whips.  So he has to charge.  Congrats you've wasted a turn of the enemy's.  Repeat 3x for 3 units of scrabs congrats bottom of turn 3 the enemy is 6" out of his deployment zone!  Next turn the enemy will run as fast as possible and hit a wall of 3 monoliths...  If he can get past this wall it's already turn 5 and most likely you'll be out of time by now.  and you can just set up a final ring of 2 warrior squads 2 warriors deep so he can't charge everything at once.  Then teleport to OBJ's.<br /> <br /> What do you think.<br /> <br /> <br /> ]]></description>

As far as what happens if the enemy does have tanks or jump infantry uh. well then it's a normal everyday game of I shoot you, you charge me, I teleport away and rapid fire, you charge again and repeat until someone is dead.]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ If you take away the monoliths, the army doesnt really look that scary.  At least, thats what I do whenever I look at a Necron list and try to decide how good it is.<br /> <br /> Everyone knows that monoliths are good, but a single solid multi-charge guts this army bad.<br /> <br /> I'd have to see it played, it seems like it 'could' be resiliant if you can teleport away enough to keep units spread out, but the shooting just doesnt seem that scary to me, and you've got NO <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(58);'>hth</span> ability.<br /> <br /> First glance I dont see any power in this list...other than the monoliths.]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ I was thinking about this idea for a list last week with a friend. the fact that you can use the monoliths as walls to block assault and use scarabs to form protective rings around your units its amazing. I know from experience that the idea of this list does well against assault armies if used correctly. Personally, I think you need fewer warriors and need to MAX OUT on immortals. <br /> <br /> As for the monoliths being dropped, if you run the math, Vindicators only have an 11% chance per shot of destroying a monolith. The only thing that is going to be able to drop that many monoliths reliably is 9 broadsides. <br /> <br /> I am not saying that this list is amazing, but I have tested the concept and it works. ]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ This is true. But having 3 monoliths would let you make un-assailable walls. If you get 3 monoliths and spread them out, leaving about 2 inches in between each corner, you can make a wall about the size of a table quarter. The scarabs are a back up at that point. You can literally seal yourself off from assault. And the scrabs are merely there to buy time for your shooty stuff to blast awasy at whatever is charging you. <br /> <br /> But I will admit. It would be bad news to fight a nob biker based list.]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ Crusher that I run also uses 3 Soulgrinders with tongue which is basically Railguns at monoliths.  At 2500 Thats also a Thirster to assault a monolith and then jump over it to get at the squishy things.  I personally think mobile destroyer armies with cloaked lord and Deciever are the tougher build for crons.  The Cron Ardboyz list had a mix of both if my memory serves.]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ I find that when I put down that many Necrons (warriors & immortals) they'll get clustered.<br /> Res orbs help mitigate this.<br /> I think you should drop a warrior squad and add a additional Lord (Res).<br /> this will allow you to split your forces as they move around terrain pieces without having the clump them.<br /> clumping is murder any high strength pie plates make the metal undead sad (don't forget, your list may fight other monoliths)<br /> setting up your phalanx with 8 spokes to the wheel gives your opponent too much of a target<br /> <br /> also in regards to demons (and any drop army)<br /> the extra lord will let you spread further, thus help you control where the demon player can drop units  ]]></description>
