Swiss Army Daemons

So I was thinking. The reason I gave up on daemons before, was due to the fact it really didn't have any way to deal with vehicles.

So what if I took my daemon list and cut half of it out. Replaced it with units that can deal with various threats?

With utility in mind, the end result is thus:

250 - Bloodthirster.
Mr Killy needs no gifts.

110 - Herald of Tzeentch: Bolt, Chariot, We Are Legion, Master.
110 - Herald of Tzeentch: Bolt, Chariot, We Are Legion, Master.
5 wound jetbike tank hunter/shooter.

120 - 3 Bloodcrushers.
120 - 3 Bloodcrushers.
These things are monsters. Om nom nom.

140 - 4 Flamers.
Good at killing all kinds of infantry and sometimes light vehicles.

175 - 10 Plaguebearers: Icon.
175 - 10 Plaguebearers: Icon.
The anchors of my deployment forces.

240 - 15 Bloodletters.
Big resilient combat unit.

129 - 7 Horrors: Bolt.
129 - 7 Horrors: Bolt.
Can openers.

150 - Prince: Iron Hide, Mark of Nurgle, Noxious Touch.
150 - Prince: Iron Hide, Mark of Nurgle, Noxious Touch.
Wounds anything on a 2+, possibly with rerolls.

And that's 1997pts with 64 models.

Concerns:
1) Having a few smaller units is more kill points to give up.
2) By having smaller units focused on different tasks I lose the ability to murder things in combat. ie; Have taken less Crushers.
3) I've never played Daemons. They look fragile.

Any thoughts?

Looks reasonable. Could probably drop a few PBs from the squad, take more Crushers or replace a unit with Fiends. Maybe drop a couple Letters too for points if needed - nothing will survive 15 Bls charging it save perhaps those uber units (think Nobs/Warlocks). Might be good for taking some hits on the way in though.

Swiss Army Daemons

If you are taking the Bloodletters as a 'big resilient unit' than I'd drop them. Bloodletters go down like flies, they aren't resilient, they are glass hammers. As you already have quite a bit of hammers in your army already (Bloodcrushers, Daemon Princes, Bloodthirster) I'd suggest dropping the Bloodletters.
Your list seems to lack some anti-horde weapons. Besides the flamers, nothing in your army can kill lot's of Orks (as that is the most common horde army). This is one of the main reasons why lot's of Daemon players choose the Soul Grinder with Phlegm over the Daemon Princes.

I don't play Daemons myself, so take all this with the usual salt. Hope I've been of some help.
