I was all set to start eldar about 6 months ago, while I waited for IG to come out. I bought and assembled a lot of stuff, but somewhere along the way, I lost interest. Now I'm all fired up about getting ready for IG, but it won't take me that long to repaint my already painted vostroyans... when I'm done with them, I'd like to start in on something else.

Is this scheme worth keeping? Is there anything else I could do to it that might make me a bit more excited about it. I got about one dire avenger in before I called it quits... I was planning to paint them in aspect colors, but any loose cloth (like their arm ties) would get the warlock purple treatment.

Yeah I played dozens of games. Lost more than I won, albiet the crowd i run with brings serious heat to games. I feel like the eldar are underpowered at the moment. But that is a discussion for another forum.

I have just about everything you'd need to make a mech eldar army, a ghost army, a biker swarm army, and even a guardian spam army. I tried em all. I just painted these particular units because they seemed the most fun to paint.

I was thinking of just kinda tucking them into my closet. You never know when inspiration will strike. I think with a little tweaking I'd really love this scheme. They look great! No so mutch on the Wave Serpent tough... Way to mutch purple on that one (at least for me). Where the purple on the snipers is nice and subtle you're totally going overboard on the tank.
