				<description><![CDATA[ /Rant mode on/<br /> <br /> I know theres a good possibility this has been done, and not like anything can be fixed now, but just a few annoying things in the ork dex that still bother me alot, got now great new changes, but they have left out / missed alot of good ones that would fit in well.<br /> <br /> all in all, just wanted to start a general discussion about it, and get everyones views <img src="/s/i/a/c944477abc92c1c101da485e07ff06d8.gif" border="0"><br /> <br /> Burna boyz:<br /> 1: why are they no longer an upgrade in the boyz unit? would be amazing to get the toast and charge back, also, 3 more <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(486);'>PW</span>'s in a large unit would be nice <img src="/s/i/a/39ea8e0dbfb45dcc6b802cd0e198dba3.gif" border="0"><br /> i know you can buy a whole unit now, but it takes up an elite choice i rather save for nobz or lootas, just miss them in units.<br /> <br /> Battlewagons:<br /> mainly upgrade problems i have with them, they are ment to be a warbosses pride and joy, so, why the small arms weapon choices?<br /> choice of 4 of either big shootas or rokkitz isnt much, no skorcha? if your using a deff rolla wagon, then chances are you will be getting close for tank shocking, why not be able to take skorchas to add to that damage? :K<br /> also, when taken as a dedicated transport they cant take a killkannon? any reason for this atall?<br /> <br /> Flash gitz:<br /> i wont go here much, all ill say is, needs a points slash.<br /> <br /> Meganobz:<br /> elite, hard hitting unit, look amazing, but they run away now 0_o<br /> no bosspole upgrades make them a liability, and weapons options are lacking somewhat.<br /> maybe twin klaws? or actually swapping out kombi weps for the real deal (obviously a limit on what weps and how many per unit)<br /> also find the lack of painboy or waaagh! banner annoying, they could be so much better with a few simple changes.<br /> <br /> koptas:<br /> not really a big thing here, but they are in small units, so will often run, which can be expected.<br /> why not the option of a nob with bosspole? that way people might buy a buzz saw aswell, on the charge your paying 25 points for a S7 boy, why not have a nob with a S9 one?<br /> not only would more people take them, but its another option for tank hunting.<br /> <br /> Looted wagonz:<br /> big hate here for the new way they have been done.<br /> im sure alot of people here used to love using thier looted russ or bassy, ive even seen people using looted rhino's as transport for da boyz (was up to 3 per choice if under 50 points)<br /> now its not as orky, sure, you can use the model and say its looted, but your then back to using basic ork weps.<br /> i would love my boyz zooming across the field in a redeemer burning everything in thier path, but no, we must use basics with stupidly low armour :(<br /> <br /> Waaah! rule + Dreads:<br /> if you have the dex, you know what the waaagh! rule is and does, i was just wondering why it does not effect dreads, i know they are walkers, but demons dex, pavane (sp?) can work on walkers and make them "dance"<br /> so why cant dread pilots be worked into a frenzy?<br /> <br /> <br /> Snotling!!!?<br /> where did they go!?<br /> used to be able to have snotling swarms running about all over the place holding units up, now that can no longer be done :(<br /> shokk gun uses them as ammo, so obviously they are about, just not fighting anymore?<br /> <br /> Just seems they have taken alot of the orky charm out of it, and made them too serious to even be orks anymore.<br /> luckily things like weird boyz are back to add to the randomness <img src="/s/i/a/baf5f2e54c6b17d5c5d39aecadfa1272.gif" border="0"><br /> and lootas are a nice upgrade, allthough an ork sniper team was amusing in the previous edition.<br /> but, i wont complain about those since they have actually made something nice and orky from the idea, rather than ruin it.<br /> <br /> thats just a rough run down, but yea, wanted that little rant on all the annoying things in there.<br /> feel free to either add to that while discussing, or disprove certain parts, all open, so go for it <img src="/s/i/a/c944477abc92c1c101da485e07ff06d8.gif" border="0"><br /> <br /> /Rant mode off/<br /> <br /> Note: checked my spelling, but if ive missed anything, im sorry <img src="/s/i/a/39ea8e0dbfb45dcc6b802cd0e198dba3.gif" border="0">]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ You missed the one thing I really want, MadBoyz! They are one of the most characterful Ork units, and they are mentioned in the fluff on the page with the Weirdboyz. I also want Boarboyz and especially Cyboarz. 				<description><![CDATA[ Ermm...not really.<br /> <br /> 3rd Edition Codex sucked all the Orky Goodness out, sure. But the 5th Edition one brought back Shokk Attakgunz, Barukk, Weirdboyz and Warpheadz....<br /> <br /> It even covers the Clanz pretty well, both in terms of background, and the additional options opened up via the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(56);'>HQ</span> choices, you can represent them pretty accurately.]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ warp, i am annoyed about some of the feral options that are missing :(<br /> <br /> ie: boarboyz, smaller squiggoths (no hardship, <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(7);'>apoc</span>!) sqiug heards (i love the little blighters) ect ect.<br /> <br /> some can be re-made, for example:<br /> boar boyz - count as bikers, but make them cyboars with upgrades.<br /> allthough still takes some fun away from it.<br /> <br /> thinking about getting some epic ideas in for <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(7);'>apoc</span> games, such as soopa gun, weird boy tower, but yea, just annoyed with some of the fun units that now seem to be gone for good.]]></description>

For friendly games, I know there's no problem using them with home brewed rules to make them Feral, since we do that kind of thing all the time with different armies.  If I were you, I'd just transplant the rules for Madboyz and such from older editions into my games and tweak them to be fair rules in the current edition.  From the intellegent way you stated yourself, I don't think it would be a hard job for you.]]></description>
