My FLGS is small and doesn't carry everything I want, it can be weeks before an order comes in. I prefer to buy there to help keep the money in the local economy, but sometimes I don't want to wait and will turn to ebay, even if I end up paying retail. A lot of america doesn't have a FLGS near them at all, and it's not going to get better over the next year..

Of course, since I do actually have at least two brain cells to rub together, before I use it, I check the shipping, and how often previous auctions have exceeded the price I'll be paying, etc etc.
