Matte Varnish

SO... I understand that I could probably lurk for a few hours and find the answer to this question. But in the name of the environment, I am just making a thread so I can save energy (pretty good excuse, eh?)

Anyway, I got some krylon matte varnish, and tested it on one mini. Unfortunately, the thing came out with what looked like a gloss coat! Is there anyway to dull the model down without going out and buying ever type of varnish you people recommend?!

Krylon matte will give the models a "sheen" not a "shine" you can trydulling it with a thin black/gray wash. Or whatever the base coat color is on th parts that are still the basecoat color.

You may also want to make Shure you shake the can long enough I know it sounds dumb but you gotta shake it like a salt shaka' for around 5 mins at least the first. Time you use it. j

I want to have my models all look uniform, and have heard that GW's current "Purity Seal" is different from their old Matte Varnish....
