				<description><![CDATA[ basically I have one drop pod, also I can't deep strike my termies without it.<br /> <br /> the terminators are a bit of a point sinky gimmik, but they land in the middle of enemy lines on turn 1 and shoot the crap out of something, because of their lightening claws they're nasty as hell in close combat, but when they are charged, because of the wolf pelts they are even better than when they charge.<br /> <br /> failing that they take away fire destined for my juicier tagets down table.<br /> <br /> the naked drop pod is means to an end<br /> <br /> oh and the wolf scouts come on to support them/blow up a tank OBELing]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ Here's my general, somewhat rambling thoughts.<br /> <br /> The Dreads don't need extra armor.  For the Ven, it's only 5 points (<span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(124);'>SW</span>), but it's a lot more for the standard.  Also, I think it's hard to get them into range to use a heavy flamer (unless they're in a drop pod).  Personally, I like putting a Plasma Cannon on the Ven Dread, and it doesn't need anything else (the heavy flamer is nice, but not required).<br /> <br /> Models in Terminator Armor can't have grenades.  I don't like giving <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(56);'>HQs</span> Terminator Armor because it's so expensive.  I like keeping them cheap - Frostblade, Plasma Pistol (or Bolt Pistol if really cheap), Frags, Melta bomb (and that's really optional).  I like the plasma pistol, but <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(274);'>YMMV</span>.<br /> <br /> The terminators are a rock hard unit.  I'd change up their wargear.  First, two can have a heavy weapon (and the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(392);'>WGBL</span> could as well).  My ideal configuration is (all with Runic Charms, which should be mandatory), 1 w/ Power Weapon and combi-flamer, 1 w/ <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(486);'>PW</span> and Combi-plasma, 1 w/ Assault Cannon and Powerfist, 1 w/ Assault Cannon and Thunderhammer.  It's a dead-hard unit as many of my opponents will attest.  With the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(392);'>WGBL</span>, you have 3 plasma shots within 12", 8 <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(5);'>AC</span> shots, and a flamer template.  At the least, I would drop your Stormbolters for Combi-flamers (only 2 points more!).  I would consider putting both <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(390);'>GH</span> packs in pods.  That lets you drop 2 units on Turn 1, and gives you the ability to drop 2 <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(390);'>GH</span> packs and leave the terminators in reserve.  Right now, the Terminators have to arrive Turn 1.  If you go first, your opponent may stay totally off the board, they drop, nothing to shoot at.  <br /> <br /> I think meltabombs for scouts are too many points, <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(274);'>YMMV</span>.  I'd drop the power weapon, they'll die in assault.  They're there to kill tanks.  Also, don't be afraid to infiltrate them into cover.  <br /> <br /> The rest of the list, to me, is 'meh'.  It doesn't look horrible, but not great either.  I'd think about adding more bodies and another powerfist to the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(389);'>BC</span> unit (if you get them to 11 models, they can have 3).  Getting them to 15 would be ideal.  <br /> <br /> Having one landraider is a bit of a risk.  One lucky roll early in the game, and it's toast, and the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(389);'>BCs</span> are on foot.  You have nothing long-ranged in the list.  While typical for <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(695);'>SWs</span>, it's not ideal.  <br /> <br /> For the Rhino/Razorback cost - it's not clear.  <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(74);'>INIT</span> <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(36);'>FAQ</span> says to use the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(119);'>SM</span> costs.  I think that's the cleanest, but ask the Tourney Organizer.  <br /> <br /> For what it's worth, I won a <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(238);'>RTT</span> last weekend (and defeated four good players, including Kevin Kirby's - yes, the Ard Boyz 07 winner - and his mech eldar army).  My list was:<br /> <br /> Ven Dread w/ <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(331);'>PC</span><br /> <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(392);'>WGBL</span> - <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(153);'>FB</span>, <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(194);'>PP</span>, Frag, Melta (in pod)<br /> <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(392);'>WGBL</span> - <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(153);'>FB</span>, Bike, Frag, Melta<br /> <br /> Scouts - 4 w/ <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(563);'>MG</span> and <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(194);'>PP</span> (didn't have points for extra <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(194);'>PP</span> or bodies.  I'd consider giving meltabombs to a small unit).<br /> <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(225);'>WG</span> - 4 Termies, my config above, in pod<br /> <br /> <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(390);'>GH</span> - 7, meltagun, power weapon and bolter, bolters, Pack Leader w/ Powerfist, Combi-flamer, Runic Charm, drop pod<br /> <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(390);'>GH</span> - 7, meltagun, plasma pistol, power weapon (no bolters!), Pack leader with powerfist, combi-flamer, runic charm, drop pod<br /> <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(390);'>GH</span> - 7, plasma rifle, pack leader with powerfist, combi-flamer, runic charm<br /> <br /> <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(389);'>BC</span> Bikers - 6 w/ flamer and power fists<br /> Attack bike w/ multi-melta <br /> <br /> Dakka pred - autocannon and heavy bolters<br /> Whirlwind<br /> <br /> Each game, a different unit seemed to be the 'man of the match'.  I'd reconfig some things, but I think this is a pretty solid core.  <br /> <br /> But, it's an 1850 point list, and doesn't have a landraider.  But, you're basically dropping the bikes for <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(389);'>BCs</span> in a landraider, so it's the same tactical application.  I'd look to add some more long-range shooting.  <br /> ]]></description>
