				<title>Mechanised IG army </title>

				<description><![CDATA[ I say get rid of the stormies in favor of normal guardsmen. Give them a lascannon so they can possibly take out tanks while the chimeras take out heavy armoured/high toughness goobers.]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ Not in fifth their not. Not in my opinion anyways. You don't need counter charge anymore, as your opponent wont consolidate into another squad.<br /> <br /> My personal opinion is your inquisitor is completely and utterly a waste of points. That, and I don't think you can have to priests. That much plasma is totaly pointless. With the ammount of cover saves out there, the ammount of shots you get is more important than the quality. That, and you have no ablative wounds. The second he starts killing stuff in the squad you start loosing teeth.<br /> <br /> I would drop the grenadiers down to 6 men, two plasma. Four more bodies really isn't going to get you much more. You'r three troop choices are not very resilient, but that's how it goes. <br /> <br /> Lastly, you have almost no anti tank. Maybe you don't see much armor in your neighborhood, but in the areas I play you'd be murdered by other russ, monoliths, raiders, and what not. <br /> <br /> I hope I'm not coming off harsh. Just trying to be straight with you about the list. It's not terrible, but I would say it's not all that "good" either. Take another shot and lets see what you come up with.]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ Have you considered an army mounted entirely in Valkries? Obviously you'd have to wait till the new Codex, but you said you want a themed army and thats exactly what it gives you. List like this:<br /> Command squad, Honorif imp, plasmaguns<br />  - Valkrie w/ lascannons<br /> Platoon Command, Plasmaguns<br />  - Valkrie w/ Lascannons<br /> Squad 1, Meltaguns<br /> Valkrie w/ MRP (multiple rocket pod)<br /> Squad 2, Meltaguns<br /> Valkrie w/ MRP<br /> Platoon Command, Plasmaguns<br />  - Valkrie w/ Lascannons<br /> Squad 1, Meltaguns<br /> Valkrie w/ MRP <br /> Squad 2, Meltaguns<br /> Valkrie w/ MRP<br /> Heavy weps squad, 3 Missile Launchers<br />  - Valkrie w/ Multiple Rocket Pod<br /> Heavy weps squad, 3 Missile Launchers<br />  - Valkrie w/ Multiple Rocket Pod<br /> Heavy weps squad, 3 Missile Launchers<br />  - Valkrie w/ Multiple Rocket Pod<br /> Clock in at about 2500 points, depending on what rumours you belive. This army can lay down so many blast templates its not funny, so and Ork/Tyranid hordes will be thinned at incredible speed. You can also fire the Misslie launchers Krak and them + the Lascannons will pop any and evry vehicle your opponent has. With 10 Valkries and a max of 16+ Blast Templates, your enemy will be overwhelmed, blown to pieces and cut down. Any Vehicle will get a run for their money, as 3 Lascannons and 4-8 meltaguns is not nice, especially if you combune it with those blast templates. <br /> VH]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ Well if your going for armoured assult maybe take some melta bombs in 1 or 2 of your squads to give em' a shot at stickin' tanks and heavy troops while still being cheap and fast atack oreinted.]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ THAT MUCH plasma is totaly pointless...didn't say ALL plasma is pointless <img src="/s/i/a/6d3c0a908a3861135dfaebde91c0ecf6.gif" border="0"><br /> <br /> Didn't sound harsh at all. I just didn't make myself as clear as I thought I did.<br /> <br /> The plasma pistols on your squad leaders are a poor choice in my opinion. Costs the same as a plasma gun, shoots half as far and half as many times. <br /> <br /> The inquisitor squad of plasma doom...umm, yeah. I'm not going to bother adding that all up in my head, and instead just say, DAMN! thats a lot of points on a lot of very frail gentlemen. They'll theoretically hop out of the rhino (not if your opponent knows whats in the rhino) and open up on some poor unsuspecting marine squad. Maybe you'll find a good spot, and they wont be in cover. You'll either decimate the squad, or with the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(14);'>BS</span> of most of those troops, at least give them a good bloody nose. Then the squad will go away. It wont take your opponents entire army either, just a few squads, and that expensive elite choice will be gone...poof.]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ with the current codex...<br /> 6x5man grenedier squads in transports can dump the men on non-combat objectives then let the tank go fight. guys going to objectives in chims keep the guys alive long enough to live through small arms fire and cap the objective.<br /> Deck Command out with as many heavy weapon squads you can <br /> Almost would go with a second command platoon to just get more heavy weapons, then you can put more anti-infantry in one and lascannons in the other<br /> With two <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(56);'>HQs</span> decked with 1melta 1plasma in a transport and full heavy weapons teams to provide fire support, you may not be completely <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(95);'>MEQ</span> but those heavy teams are going to take out a lot of stuff with a few guys.<br /> <br /> In may (New dex), just buy valkyries, rumours say they're gonna be just downright slowed.<br /> <br /> [EDIT]<br /> The codex does say you can have only 1 command platoon, the idea still can hold with heavy support choices of heavy weapon teams, or you could always go with just heavy support tanks.]]></description>
