I have a ton of the GW flying bases, with the clear plastic stands, but they're trash. Out of about 40 bases, there is not one stem that does not have an unsighly air bubble smack-dab in the middle of the stem, which totally ruins the illusion as far as I'm concerned.

I'm wondering if anyone has better alternatives for getting the miniatures airborn.
