Yep...

Chappies are all about CC, so if you take away the pistol for a SB, you are just gimping the poor guy by removing one of his attacks. plasma pistol is a waste of time and points, very expensive for something that may result in the chappy smoking himself early in the game, or after finishing combat.


allthough, the storm might work ok against anything without armour, possibly get a few shots off before combat, then once combat has ended you may get a few more, all depends on how the battle goes.

A model with a bolt pistol and a lightning claw or a power fist won't recieve a bonus attack.
