1500 eldar point High model count

So What I want to try this time around is a fairly heavy model count Eldar army. My group around here usually does 1500 point armies so thats what I am shooting for. The idea of the army is some thing that has the mobility to run around the battle field and grab objectives as well as hold down the one on my side of the field. There is some room for tweaking and I want as much input as possible for this list. I haven't run it yet and prolly wont until next Sunday so if I could have a good solid list by then I would be greatfull.

1499 points:

HQ
Mugan Ra

Farseer with guide and a singing spear

Elite

10 Howling Banshees with an exarch executioner, war shout, and acrobatics

Troops

12 storm Guardians with 2 fusion guns, warlock with enhance

10 storm Guardians with 2 fusion guns, warlock with enhance

10 Guardians with Eldar missile Launcher

10 Guardians with Scatter Laser

10 Guardians with Scatter Laser

HVY Support

5 Dark Reapers with exarch, Missile Launcher, Fast Shot, Crack Shot

5 Dark Reapers with exarch, Tempest Launcher, Fast Shot, Crack Shot

I guess if I have to give a basic strategy for this army right now it would be to mob the enemy while laying down some suppressive fire and swarming him with howling banshees and storm guardians. The Farseer would kind of hang in the back and guide the dark reapers and after a round or two would prolly run with the guardians and guide the ones that need it for that round, he is also a little versitile because he has the singing spear so he can throw it at a tank that gets too close to the flank of my army. The storm guardians also pack a punch against tanks with their fusion guns.
The people I play with run a fair verity of armies but the ones that are run the most would have to be space marines because I play with a group of around 12 on an average day and at least 8 of them have space marine armies as well as others so I generally find myself with 2 space marine games every sunday and about 1 or 2 games with some thing else like more chaos or tau.

Mr.Ra looks like a bit of a liability.. if he goes with the tempest reapers hes doing okay but wasting his awesome CC potentail. He cant join the banshees (thier apsect warriors & not of his aspect) and if he joins the guardains, you may be at risk from the guardains taking lots of casulties & falling back taking the awesome Mr.Ra with them!

Otherwise, nice horde list. Will enhance get your more kills from slighly improved guardains (still only S3 though) or will a destructor template prior to a charge net you more kills? Think about it.. I ohnestly could say & its too late for crazy math-hammerings. Not that I can count neways.

46 guardains as a strong troop core and 14 banshes as a deadly counter charge.. looks goood. All foot. Id say the banshees need farseer fortune & doom suport.

Re:1500 eldar point High model count

ok so after talking to some people and considering some things I have come to a better list I think. its a bit more anti tank and I have a bit of a better strategy for this list then the other here is the run down of the list and some tactica:

HQ
Avatar

Farseer with guide, Spirit stones, Doom, and a singing spear(just for the points)

Elite

10 Striking Scorpions with a Power Claw, and Stalker

Troops

11 storm Guardians with 2 Flamers guns, warlock with Destructor

10 Dire Avengers with Exarch, shimmer shield and power weapon, Defend, and Blade storm

10 Dire Avengers with Exarch, shimmer shield and power weapon, Defend, and Blade storm

10 Guardians with Scatter Laser

10 Guardians with Scatter Laser

HVY Support

5 Dark Reapers with exarch, Tempest Launcher, Crack Shot

Wraith Lord with EML and Bright Lance

The basic tactic of this army is to sit the storm guardians in cover on my objective and hold it while the dark reapers lay down support fire and the rest of my army truges forward and jumps into combat. The wraithlord will take out a tank or two and take down some HVY armor troops and farseer with run up with the guardians guiding them until he can doom a squad that is in combat for some nasty attacks. I feel that the Wraithlord is kind of on a short chain with this list having to either hang back with the storm guardians or run forward with the farseer. Well either way what do people think now and I would also like to thank people for their feedback so far its helped alot.

I like the second list a whole lot better. Much improved. Good choice of which reaper squad to keep and how to arm it. My only nitpick would be the equipement for the dire avengers. You realize that the shimmer shield and defend don't make your avengers any better in hand to hand right? All those things do is make them die slower. I would recommend that you ditch them (and the power weapon) in favor of the double catapult. After that, you can use the points to add more members to your storm guardian squad.

it would be a point for them to die slowly because that way they can hold a unit long enough for a heavy hitter to get over there and take the guys out fro them.
Well, the 2nd list looks better than the first. However, five troop units are a bit much.
I'd drop two units and add either 3 Warwalkers with scatterlasers or a larger troupe of Harlies.

Nice hordey army. Id say drop one dire avengers for a second wraithlord. Really makes it difficult to choose which MC to target.

I think you'll get more kills, if you spend 5 pts more, on getting guardain EML's, wounding on 4's but your also denying 4+ armor saves & its pinning, longer ranged. With the scat lasers, each squad will get 2 hits. 3-4 should wound which equals two failed saves & two wounds. Sup to you.. my math may be wrong!

Im sure even necrons will fail a pinning test one in a game! Pinning via attrition, always good.
