3.you can buy a filter mask/dust mask at any wal-mart,that and some safty glasses and your good to go.
4. ehhh, I would use orkhide shade with a drybrush of knarloc green followed by a wash of thrakka green then a light highlight of goblin green.

2. Unless you're hold the mini with your hands, you don't need hand protection. The primer might also melt some types of latex...

3. A simple nurse's mask from a drug store should be fine, unless you have a pre-existing condition.

5. Depends how much you want to focus on the blue. Anything between Ultramarines Blue and Enchanted Blue should look OK. I basecoated my orks in Orkhide Shade and then Gnarloc Green before washing them with Paynes Grey. This was followed up with a light top coat of Camo Green

4.I suggest using Thraka Green for the wash rather than Badab Black. Perhaps even 2 or 3 Washes.
