You can cut these into little rods that resemble bullets, make sure you have enough of them.
Then use greenstuff to make two belts.
Lay down one belt and place all the little rods on top.

I'd say something simlar but instead of a "belt" use a bit of green stuff rolled out into a very thin rod and pressthat down over the bullets you have cut out of the piping or toothpicks arranged in a row, then wait untill the greenstuff has hardened up (not fully) and bend it to the shape you want.
