				<title>Does Heavy armour or shields offer anything to models?</title>
				<description><![CDATA[ Im in a horrible state of confusion, fantasy models dont appear to have any armour saves, in fact in my vampire counts armybook pretty much nothing has an armour save. But then what is the point of shields or heavy armour as listed in profiles.<br /> <br /> Am i missing something?]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ light armour - 6+ save<br /> heavy armour - 5+ save<br /> plate / chaos / most other specials - 4+<br /> <br /> this is the base save, a shield will add a further 1 to that, so light armour with shield would confer a 5+ save.<br /> <br /> should have the options listed for the armour and shields though.]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ your best bet is to just flick through the rule book in the weapon / armour section and have a look at the stuff.<br /> there are alot more changes in <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(147);'>WHFB</span> than there is <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(3);'>40k</span>, but i think it works better <img src="/s/i/a/c944477abc92c1c101da485e07ff06d8.gif" border="0">]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ Top of page 30 of the book.  Fantasy varies armour and shields to increase armour saves.  Mounting people also gives them more of a save, I guess the height or movement increases their chance of living.  Then you add in the modifiers like strenght of the weapon bearer or the strenght of the weapon.]]></description>
