				<description><![CDATA[ Decided to stray away from basic armour and tanks, wanted a fully mobile army capable of serious damage, so heres what i have to start with:<br /> <br /> <br /> <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(56);'>HQ</span>: 345<br /> <br /> Dante - 200<br /> <br /> Chaplin; power fist, jump pack - 145<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> Elite: 590<br /> <br /> 5 Honour guard; jump packs, company champion, sanguinary priest, standard with <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(10);'>BA</span> chapter standard, 2 power weapons - 250<br /> <br /> 5 Assault veterans; power weapon x3, storm shield x5 - 235<br /> <br /> 9 Death company; (7 free) +2 models, jump packs - 105<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> Troop: 935<br /> <br /> 10 Assault marines; power fist - 275<br /> <br /> 5 Assault marines; power fist - 165<br /> <br /> 5 Assault marines; power fist - 165<br /> <br /> 5 Assault marines; power fist - 165<br /> <br /> 5 Assault marines; power fist - 165<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> Fast: 130<br /> <br /> Land speeder (melta) - 65<br /> <br /> Land speeder (melta) - 65<br /> <br /> <br /> 2,000 points exact.<br /> 51 models (all with jump packs)<br /> 2 land speeders in the hope they will hurt something.<br /> <br /> chaplin goes with the 9 death company to make sure they dont start chasing shadows.<br /> dante goes with the honour guard.<br /> <br /> <br /> all in all it seems like a pretty fast and hard hitting list, allthough a horde army may be a serious problem.<br /> both dante's unit and the death company are more than capable of fighting large mobs and winning due to serious bonus's.<br /> if they do need help then theres 4 smaller assault units able to charge in and help, while i have a 10 man one for any other problems.<br /> <br /> C&C wanted please, but i rather keep the army as all jump packs.<br /> <br /> <br /> only other thing i could think of was dropping the 10 man unit down to 5 man, (110 points saved) and drop 2 fists (20 more saved) then take 2 more melta speeders.]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ This looks like an army that would be very interesting to play with and/or against. I can see it struggling against competently played mechanised armies, but it's sure to be a bunch of really interesting movement phases.]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ thats where i rely on the great movement.<br /> each unit has a power fist, dante is able to act as a tank hunter aswell with his pistol (counts as a melta)<br /> <br /> i see guard being a problem though, too much armour and way too many troops.<br /> death company would have fun though.]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ Wouldn't it be more tactical to take full assault squads and have the option to break them into combat squads if you felt that would be more beneficial? I would take Lemartes over the power fist weilding chaplain. I am glad to see you did not select Corbulo which is a BIG mistake for this style list. He is just too slow and saying he can successfully be escorted by a squad of running tactical Karines is utter rubbish. I think this could be a fun list to play but I also think there are more effective ways to run <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(10);'>BA</span>... heavy mechanization.<br /> <br /> G]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ ill only take meph or dante, since meph does not fit this style, he doesent make the list <img src="/s/i/a/c944477abc92c1c101da485e07ff06d8.gif" border="0"><br /> <br /> lem cant pop tanks though, the death company need to be able to kill a tank if needed, hence the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(105);'>PF</span> chappy.<br /> <br /> <br /> large units are a good idea, but then i have to pay 30 points per <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(349);'>DC</span> marine <img src="/s/i/a/6d3c0a908a3861135dfaebde91c0ecf6.gif" border="0"><br /> each unit i take gets me a free one, so i rather take smaller units than lose my cheap <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(349);'>DC</span>.<br /> <br /> <br /> on the subject of characters:<br /> <br /> corb is gak, tyc looks great, but has gak rules.<br /> meph and dante seem the only decent ones, if i do take lem then i will do a quick head swap since the current one looks crap.]]></description>

Then you're going to have trouble against vehicle armies, especially AV14.  I'd trash your elites and replace them with VAS squads with meltas as cmagee suggested.  Extra points can then go into beefing up the Troop assault units, or more speeders.]]></description>

With 1 melta shot a turn, you hit 2/3 of the time, pen on a 7+, so 21/36 of the time, and destroy it on a 4+, so 1/2 of the time. All this works out to being about a 20% chance per melta shot to destroy a <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(87);'>LR</span>, so it would take one of those speeders 5 turns on average to destroy it. This all assumes they aren't focusing down your Landspeeders (which they will, since as tzeentchling mentioned, they are both your only real tank-busting and your only non-infantry unit), and that makes it even worse. In the mean-time, the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(87);'>LR</span> will be running around tank-shocking and shooting your jump infantry with no repercussions, since you can't possibly hurt it.]]></description>
