				<title>2000 pt RT CSM</title>
				<description><![CDATA[ I have a 2000 point <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(238);'>RTT</span> coming up on the 28th, and I need some help banging out a final list. I don't have all the models to fill out the points yet, so I'll need tips on what else to add.<br /> <br /> The models I currently have:<br /> Terminator Lord<br /> 5 Terminators<br /> 5 Chosen (can flesh out with a few bolter <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(22);'>csm</span> as ablative shielding)<br /> 30 Berzerkers<br /> 1 Land Raider<br /> 5 Possessed<br /> 1 Chaos Dread<br /> <br /> I may or may not have some Raptors by the time the tournament rolls around (I'm converting some up), and I will hopefully be getting two rhinos tonight, and a third before the tourney. I not only want tips on the list itself, but on what to buy to flesh it out. Below is a preliminary list I slapped together based on my 1500 pt list and the models available/wanted. I will NOT be running oblits, simply because I don't have the time or bitz to convert some up, and I refuse to buy the hideous <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(50);'>GW</span> models. The list itself is pretty straightforward, with the berzerkers in rhinos following the land raider up the board or securing objectives, if necessary. The Daemons can be <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(19);'>CC</span> support or an objective claiming/contesting deep strike, with the Chosen as a dedicated tank hunting unit.<br /> <br /> The list definitely needs some work, so go crazy with C&C. Just keep in mind my time and model constraints.]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ I think a small squad of terminators is not the way to go for winning <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(19);'>CC</span> with chaos. If I were you, I would give all of your terminators combi meltas and deepstrike them and ruin somebody's day when you deepstrike and incinerate a tank. Same with the terminator lord. I think you are far better off with a Daemon Prince. <br /> If I were you, I would get more berzerkers in Rhino and just charge up the field. Forget raptors, you need WS5 and furious charge to really do some damage. <br /> <br /> Lesser daemon are a good idea, but dont forget about Icons to bring them in. <br /> to be honoest, the possesed are a waste of points<br /> <br /> the chosen are good, but give them a rhino. <br /> <br /> Possesed are not a good idea, stick with more berzerkers or more terminators.]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ The Possessed are mostly there just because I have the models. As I said, I am basing the list so far off what is available. I am thinking about just DSing the termies (I can add my other terminator in there that way, as well), and giving one of the zerk squads the Land Raider. I could easily fix the points to get a Daemon Prince, but I will be using a Terminator Lord because I have the model. As for the Chosen, I have been looking at getting a rhino, but that would make it 4 rhinos to purchase  by the 28th, which is a big cost for me. If I do go with the Daemons (Likely, considering that the swuad is cheap and very useful), I will put PIs on there. I just dont have my codex, and I'm not sure aobut the points with the pred, etc.<br /> <br /> If I decide to go all out with purchases, I'll probably buy the following (But likely not, I'm not made of money):<br /> <br /> Another Land Raider<br /> 3 Rhinos<br /> A box of Bloodletters<br /> (Maybe) A Daemon Prince<br /> <br /> This way, I could run the daemons, put two squads of zerks into Land Raiders for a possible 1st turn assault, give the other zerk squad and chosen both rhinos, and drop some Daemons on the emeny/an objective. 				<description><![CDATA[ Don't underestimate the power of raiding the bitz box. If I get around to it I'll post pics of some of my scratch-built Princes.<br /> <br /> <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(87);'>LRs</span> are a huge point investment. I get what you're using them for, but the points won't be worth it. Oblitz will fill the missing spot in your list while being generally awesome and always useful no matter what you fight. I used to love <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(82);'>LD</span> but basic <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(22);'>CSM</span> are 2 points more and have guns too.]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(86);'>LotR</span> Baal Rag makes a good khorne <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(262);'>DP</span>, though he is a tad on the huge side and will probobly never get cover saves.<br /> <br /> As for the unlimited funds list I like everything except the demons.  All they do is add easy to kill models to the fight that can be used to counter all the damage the zerkers do.  An infiltrating chosen min sized melta squad, or points for more rhinos would be better use of the points <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(72);'>IMO</span>.  <br /> <br /> As for the list of what you have buying a predator is only useful when you want a rhino that comes with extra parts.   In an army that destroys troops already you don't need the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(5);'>ac</span>/<span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(51);'>hb</span> loadout. As mentioned posessed really suck ... all of mine have been converted into champions, characters, or split up to just give flavor to other marine units. They would make a good unit of zerkers if you give them pistol arms and a model that's is painted differently to represent the power weapon or power fist on the champion.  If I were building off those forces I would suggest the followign additions :<br /> <br /> <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(22);'>CSM</span> box of 10 This would give you some stay at home and guard objectives marines, that could also be used to bump up chosen squads etc.<br /> <br /> a demon prince of some sort.  Doesnt have to be one of the offical models, but at 2000 most lists will run two <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(56);'>HQ</span>.  Find any demon model that you think looks khorney and put it on a 40mm base(I think, I always based mine larger pre 5th ed).  A bloodcrusher would be a suitable stand in for a demon prince in a khorne army, but you would still need to find wings that would look okay for it.  There are some fantays demon princes and demon characters that would look good too, not sure of their names though, it's been a while .. belekor or something like that is a nice basic demon that would suit your needs.<br /> <br /> Rhinos.  5th edition is the mach edition.  Walking zerkers are just easy pickings for yoru opponents.  Rhinos get them there and quickly.  Also lets them redeploy when theyv'e killed something and the next target is severa lwalking turns away.<br /> <br /> Meph]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ Now that you mention it, there are several Fantasy models that look good, such as the Skulltaker and the Dragon Ogre Shaggoth. I have also been considering putting Kharn with a squad of berzerkers. I don't actually have any slogging Berzerkers - the squads without rhinos will be loaded in the Land Raiders. Dropping the Daemons would give me the points I need to run the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(262);'>DP</span> or Kharn, as I don't have any need for more armor. The Chosen could drop their 'extras' and just run with the min squad, and those points would free me up to add some vehicle upgrades, put in another terminator, or do anything else thats worth 50 points.]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ I think this list represents a good compromise overall with the tips I've gotten so far. Rather than take 4x8 zerks (the points cost is so high I would have to lose a land raider), I drop a berzerker or two from each squad, as well as the daemons, and throw kharn and some regular <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(22);'>csm</span> into the mix. This gives me an additional troops unit that can hold objectives better than the lesser daemons, and I can still have a double land raider charge, with terminators equipped to take out both troops and vehicles. I think the regular <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(22);'>CSM</span> could be better, and I may have their points total wrong, since I don't have my codex on me. I am 99% sure the rest is all added up correctly, though. I don't think the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(22);'>CSM</span> can have two special weapons at that squad size, but if they can, then I can add a flamer or drop the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(75);'>IoCG</span> for dual plasma or melta. 				<description><![CDATA[ You're just lacking a bunch of anti-tank. Massed zerkers don't need the support of Possessed or Lessers. I'd giving all the Rhinos combi-melts would be a great idea. Can the Landraider take a combi-melt? Don't have the dex on me <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(258);'>ATM</span>. If so, do eet! I'd pull meltas from the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(22);'>CSM</span> and Chosen squads untill every tank has some punch. <br /> <br /> The Chosen are a waste as they are though. They show up, MAYBE close to a tank and damage it. If not, they die horribly. I might just take them out completely and fill up the Zerkers and <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(22);'>CSM</span> (after outfitting the transports).]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ I'll see if I can get combi-meltas on the vehicles, but I have found that the chosen serve me well. Because they are cheap, they can usually pay for themselves in one round of shooting, and in 1500 point games, they have served me well. Now that I look at it, though, I think I would be better served dropping the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(22);'>CSM</span> altogether, and using the points to fill out the chosen (to give them more survivability) and put combi-melts on the vehicles as you suggested. 				<description><![CDATA[ Well, now your problem is that there's no one to leave on objectives. Zerkers should never camp objectives.<br /> <br /> A Rhino will earn it's points back if it even damages another tank. The combi~melt makes it a light tank with some firepower. If you're certain the points are better somewhere else, I'll let it go, heh.]]></description>

If I also turned a termy <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(500);'>CF</span> into a <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(105);'>PF</span>, then I could get combi-meltas on all the rhinos, at least.]]></description>
